- Breaks/Lunch Period. All employees shall receive a one-half (½) hour unpaid lunch period and shall receive two (2) fifteen (15) minute work breaks; one to be taken in the forenoon and one in the afternoon at times approved by the respective Department Heads/Elected Officials to assure the orderly and uninterrupted operations and function of the Department.

  • Lunch Period Employees who work five (5) hours or more shall be granted a thirty (30) minute, duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period, which may or may not be during the normal lunch hours.

  • Break Period All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

  • Lunch Periods All employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to an uninterrupted lunch period after the employee has been on duty for four (4) hours. The length of time for such lunch period shall be for a period of no longer than one (1) hour nor less than one- half (1/2) hour and shall be scheduled for full-time employees at or about the mid-point of each work shift. An employee required to work during his/her lunch period shall receive compensation at the appropriate rate of pay as determined in this Agreement for all time worked during the normal lunch period.

  • Duty-Free Lunch Period All teachers shall be entitled to a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period equal to the regular, local school lunch period but not less than thirty (30) minutes in each school day. Accommodations for coverage will be provided for exceptional situations.

  • Year of Service An Employee must complete at least Hours of Service during a Vesting Computation Period to receive credit for a Year of Service under Article V. [Note: The number may not exceed 1,000. If left blank, the requirement is 1,000.]

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • REST AND LUNCH PERIODS 1. The present practices of agencies, departments or organizational units with respect to rest periods during the regular workday shall be continued, provided that each employee shall be allowed two (2) rest periods with pay of fifteen (15) minutes during each regular workday. Employees whose duties involve continuous operations where breaks cannot be scheduled shall take personal rest periods as schedules permit.

  • Retention Period The Engineer shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred and services provided (hereinafter called the Records). The Engineer shall make the records available at its office during the contract period and for seven (7) years from the date of final payment under this contract, until completion of all audits, or until pending litigation has been completely and fully resolved, whichever occurs last.
