Calculation of accident pay. The weekly accident pay rates for employees shall be in accordance with the following table. The weekly accident pay is based on “pre-injury average weekly earnings” or “PIAWE” as defined in the Act. Payments of accident pay made in respect of part of a week will be on a direct pro rata basis. Conditions of these Accident Make Up Pay clauses only apply to injuries that occur after the date of commencement of this Agreement.
