Calendar and Work Year a. The school year for teachers shall be consistent with Article XVI - Work Year. b. The school year for MTYRSs shall be from July 1 through June 30 of any year for the purposes of aligning decisions with the fiscal year. c. The work year configuration shall be determined by a collaborative process established at each school. i. For new schools without existing School Community Councils (SCCs), a Xxxxxxxx process will be established to include teachers. Teachers will participate in all decisions related to the establishment of the school including calendar year and calendar configuration. ii. Teachers working a modified school year (e.g., 12-month Teachers) will be notified of the nature and terms of the modification in writing. v. One (1) day shall be without students at the end of the school year or track.

Calendar and Work Year. The school calendar for the Junior/Senior High School, Grimshaw and the Big Picture School shall contain 187 teacher work days. The calendar for the Onondaga Nation School, which will contain a maximum of 187 teacher work days, will be different from the calendar for the other District schools to accommodate the Onondaga Culture. The school calendars for all buildings are inclusive of four (4) non-instructional days.
