Community Councils they play a key role in disseminating information within their local area and will be a key link in effective involvement within their local areas. Community Councils will be consulted at every stage of the Replacement LDP process and they are encouraged to take this opportunity to raise awareness of this to their local communities. • Partnership groups - Liaison with Cardiff’s Public Service Board (PSB) will be of particular importance to ensure that the Replacement LDP process aligns with the Local Well-Being Plan. Community Councils. The existing network of Community Councils across Swansea will be a key contact for the dissemination of information within their local area and a link to their local area. Accordingly, the CC’s will be consulted on all key stages and through their communication channels will assist the Council in raising awareness of LDP2 to their local constituents. The Community Councils will advise on the land use aspirations they have for their community so are encouraged to contribute to consultation stages. Specific reference should be paid to consultation stages to ensure meetings can be programmed early to ensure comments can be submitted within prescribed time periods.

Community Councils. The Council’s Director of Governance and Legal and Monitoring Officer (or her representative) will hold regular meetings with nominated representatives of community councils that wish to take part. Such meetings will be held quarterly at a location to be mutually agreed and which is convenient for all councils.
