Calendar Negotiations. The calendar and procedures shall be reopened annually with the District submitting a proposal to the United Faculty by September 15. The United Faculty will submit a counterproposal by October 15. If no calendar is agreed to by December 15, the existing calendar will be “rolled over” and become next year’s calendar.

SPS will annually provide all Building Leadership Teams/Program Leadership Teams an updated copy of “Guidance Regarding Religion and Religious Accommodations” and encourage each BLT/PLT to utilize the guidance when scheduling extra-curricular events and school-based activities (I.e, testing, assemblies, field trips).
Calendar Negotiations. The Association and the District agree that the Superintendent/Principal and Association representatives shall meet each year to develop a recommendation concerning the opening and closing dates and the distribution of legal and local holidays of the annual school calendar. It is the goal of the parties that this recommendation will be presented to the Board of Trustees for action at the regularly scheduled March Board meeting. The school calendar for the current year is contained in Attachment "A".

  • Contract Negotiations Where operational requirements permit, and on reasonable notice, the Employer shall grant special leave with pay for not more than two (2) representatives of each bargaining unit for the purpose of attending contract negotiation meetings with the Employer on behalf of the Union. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Exclusive Negotiations The State will not bargain collectively or meet with any employee organization other than MSEA-SEIU with reference to terms and conditions of employment of employees covered by this Agreement. If any such organizations request meetings they will be advised by the State to transmit their requests concerning terms and conditions of employment to MSEA-SEIU.

  • Informal Negotiations To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Terms of Use (each a "Dispute" and collectively, the “Disputes”) brought by either you or us (individually, a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”), the Parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute (except those Disputes expressly provided below) informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration. Such informal negotiations commence upon written notice from one Party to the other Party.
