TRI Days. The District will provide TRI days to be used at the employee‟s discretion for activities indicated on the Staff Development/TRI Report Form and as shown below: 2010-2011 14 days* These days do not include the four (4) district directed days for the above year of the collective bargaining agreement. *In the event that the District and K12 (XXXX) are no longer in a contractual relationship, which results in the District providing instructional services to students, and/or there is any negative impact to or reduction in LEA funding to the District, the number of TRI days provided shall revert back to thirteen (13) days.
TRI Days. The District will provide to employees TRI days to be used at the employee‟s discretion for activities indicated on the Staff Development/TRI Report Form and as shown below: 2011-2012 18.0 days* 2012-2013 18.0 days* These days do not include the four (4) district directed Professional Development days in 2011- 2012 school year and four (4) days in 2012-2013 school year of the collective bargaining agreement. *It is the intent of the parties that TRI Days 15, 16, 17, and 18 will be subject to the following sunset provision. TRI Days 15, 16, 17, and 18 which are mutually agreed to solely for the duration of this contract, shall not continue beyond the expiration date of this agreement, August 31 2013, unless mutually agreed upon by the District and the Association. In the absence of such mutual agreement the number of TRI days shall revert to fourteen (14) for any status-quo period subsequent to the expiration date of this contract, and prior to the ratification of a subsequent collective bargaining agreement between the parties. 6.2.1 Special Education Teachers, OT/PTs, SLPs, and Nurses shall receive the equivalent to two additional paid days, pro rata to the identified assignment herein, in addition to the TRI days listed above.
TRI Days. All leaves will apply per Article V – Leaves. Part-time employees shall be compensated at a full FTE for these supplemental days. 1. The District and Association agree and affirm the following beliefs: ( a) the success of the Xxxxx Island School District is dependent upon hiring and retaining the highest quality teachers; (b) providing a quality education for students requires from teachers a commitment to the profession beyond the base contract, normal workday hours and school year; (c) state law allows additional compensation for additional time, additional responsibilities or incentives; (d) the additional commitment required of Xxxxx Island's teachers cannot be accurately measured in hours or days; and (e) the time necessary to fulfill any one teacher’s responsibilities will vary from that of another teacher as determined by the individual’s own professional judgment. 2. Each employee will be issued a supplemental contract for 2.5 additional days at the individual teacher’s per diem rate in recognition of these additional responsibilities and as an incentive to provide the additional services. 3. The supplemental contract recognizes that employees will provide a professionally responsible level of service in the following areas which are above the basic contract: a. Preparation for school opening; b. Work connected with the conclusion of the school year; c. Conferencing/communicating with students or parents; d. Supporting school/student activities; e. Providing individual help to students; f. Evaluating student work; g. Workshops, classes and in-service work; h. Researching educational materials and supplies; i. Improving and maintaining professional skills; j. Preparation and revisions of materials; k. Planning with other employees in areas of instruction and curriculum; l. Working with computers and other technology as related to educational uses; and m. Attending District and/or school-connected meetings such as Open House, etc. 4. Payment will be made in equal monthly installments as is done with regular paychecks. A part-time employee will receive a pro rata share of this TRI supplemental contract stipend based on the employee’s full-time equivalency (fte) 5. In the event the District's maintenance and operations levy does not pass, these provisions of Section 1.7. shall be null and void for the following school year and thereafter provided (a) the District and Association meet and consult regarding continuance of any of these provisions and (b) ...
TRI Days. The District will provide to employees 26 TRI days to be used at the employee’s discretion for activities indicated on the Staff Development/TRI Report Form. These days do not include the four (4) district directed Professional Development days. Attendance is voluntary and employees in attendance will be paid in the following pay period. Leaves may not be used on these district directed Professional Development days. Prior to the 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years, the parties will conduct a market study. The TRI days will be adjusted up, if necessary, to ensure that the TRI amount remains midpoint of the selected districts. (See Attachment 8)

  • Snow Days ‌ If an employee, after good faith efforts, is unable to report to work for their scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, the employee may utilize paid time off.

  • Days Unless specified otherwise, any period of days mandated under a Note or this Revenue Sharing Agreement shall be determined by reference to calendar days, not business days, except that any payments, notices, or other performance falling due on a Saturday, Sunday, or federal government holiday shall be considered timely if paid, given, or performed on the next succeeding business day.

  • Business Days If any time period for giving notice or taking action hereunder expires on a day which is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday in the state in which the Company’s chief executive office is located, the time period shall be automatically extended to the business day immediately following such Saturday, Sunday or holiday.

  • Working Days Without prejudice to clause 9.1, where the Authority funds the delivery of this Contract using European Social Fund (ESF) funds or in its role as a Co-financing Organisation uses this contract as a match for ESF provision, either at the outset of the contract or at any point during the life of the contract, the Contractor and any Sub-contractors appointed by it shall be bound by the corresponding additional requirements detailed within relevant Contractor Guidance, including the maintaining of records until at least 31 December 2023.

  • Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m.

  • Pay Days The Employer shall pay salaries/wages bi-weekly, or as dictated by past practice, in accordance with Appendix "A" attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each pay, each Employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of her salary/wages, overtime and other supplementary pay and deductions.

  • Leave Days 1. Each full-time teacher employed under regular contract shall be entitled to an annual allotment of thirteen (13) leave days. Such allotment shall be credited the first day of each school year and unused days shall be accumulated as sick leave to a total of one hundred eighty-two and one half (182.5) days. The teacher’s accumulated sick days may be used following use of 13 days and a doctor’s note with approval by Superintendent. Certificated staff with an accumulation of 182.5 days of accumulated sick leave shall be compensated at the end of each school year at the rate of the current daily certified substitute pay per each unused day above the 182.5 day accumulation. Such payments shall be made in July of each year. This money shall be placed in the teacher’s 403(b). If school corporation revenue in the Education Fund exceeds expenditures in the calendar year by an amount between $6,000 and $24,000, then the amount of that excess (minus compensation pay), not to exceed $18,000, shall be made available to fund a buyback of unused accumulated sick leave days on the following terms: Teachers shall have the option of selling up to ten (10) days, per round, of unused accumulated sick leave back to the school corporation at the daily rate of pay for a certified substitute teacher. This option will be offered to teachers in accordance with their seniority (total years of continuous service at Western Xxxxx) in the school corporation, with the teacher with the most seniority having priority to exercise the option, and it shall be available only to the extent of the total amount of money available as set forth above. Payment for these days shall be deposited in the individual teacher’s 403(b) plan, and upon payment those sick leave days shall no longer be available to the selling teacher. Said days must have been earned while the teacher has been employed in the school corporation. To participate in the program a teacher must maintain at all times a minimum balance of one hundred (100) days of accumulated sick leave. This method shall continue in successive rounds until the available money remaining less than daily rate of pay for a certified substitute teacher. If more money is available to the school corporation than is needed to fund the buy-backs exercised under this program, the school corporation may retain such money in its Education Fund. After selling a cumulative amount of eighty (80) days, teachers will receive a guaranteed buyback of any leave days over one hundred (100) remaining at the end of each school year. 2. A teacher employed under regular contract for only a portion of the school year shall be entitled to a proportional number of days (beginning the day they return to full-time status), and unused days shall be accumulative as specified herein. 3. Teachers shall be permitted to take one-half (1/2) day of paid leave which shall be recorded as one-half (1/2) day of paid leave. 4. Certificated staff may, in any academic year, utilize up to five (5) accumulated sick days for emergency family illness or injury (providing a written doctor’s note). The staff member must first use all 13 leave days and submit the request to the superintendent. These five days may be used for the medical emergency of only a spouse, children, mother, father, mother-in-law or father-in-law.

  • Non-Business Days If an Interest Period would otherwise end on a day which is not a Business Day, that Interest Period will instead end on the next Business Day in that calendar month (if there is one) or the preceding Business Day (if there is not).

  • After May 1, 2019 either party may give written notice to the other party of its desire to submit resolution of the salary adjustment to interest arbitration before a three-member panel comprised of a nominee of both parties and Xxxxx Xxxxx,
