CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. If Student is removed from Housing or the University as a result of academic dismissal or disciplinary action, Student must vacate Housing within 24 hours of receipt of notification by the University. The University may also terminate or suspend this UGHC if Student breaches any of the terms and conditions of this UGHC, including violating the University's Student Conduct Code or administrative policies. In such cases, Student shall be subject to prorated room charges plus a cancellation fee of
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. The University reserves the right to cancel this Agreement, with the applicable cancellation fees (as set forth in Section 9 above), under the following circumstances: student’s failure to occupy assigned Campus Housing by the 5th day of classes each semester, student’s failure to pay housing fees within the terms and deadlines as outlined by Student Administrative Services, student’s failure to remain an enrolled student in good standing with the University, student’s failure to occupy the assigned Campus Housing for 10 (ten) consecutive days on which classes are scheduled.
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. 9.1 The University may cancel the booking under the following circumstances:
(i) If the facilities or any parts of it are closed due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
(ii) If the Hirer is more than 30 days in arrears with any payment to the University
(iii) Where such a booking may potentially prejudice the reputation of the University
9.2 Under the circumstances described in 9.1(i) or (save where the Hirer has misrepresented or failed to disclose the nature of the booking to the University) 9.1
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. The University may terminate this Contract prior to the expiration date of any given academic year in the event that the student should violate any terms of this Contract or any policies of the University. Students who violate the terms of the Housing Contract may be referred to the University conduct system. The University will terminate this Contract prior to the expiration date for the following reasons:
i. Enrolled in a University-sponsored study abroad program ii. Withdrawal or leave of absence from the University
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. The University reserves the right to cancel the Agreement immediately for cause (Cause). Cause includes any breach of this Agreement, violation of any University policy or regulation or any federal, state, or local law, providing false information as part of the application process or any other University process, a documented history of violent behavior, and/or histories or behaviors that demonstrate an inability to function within the community environment or on-campus living, as determined by the University, or behavior that results in dismissal from the University or that constitutes a significant threat to the safety of any member of the campus community, including the student, jeopardizes property of others or the University, the student, and/or it is determined that the campus community would be best served by alteration or cancellation of the Agreement. If student is dismissed from the University or from SNU Housing; he/she may be responsible for the housing and meal plan charges for the remainder of the contractual period. Student is still required to properly check out of University housing at the time of dismissal. Improper checkouts carry a financial penalty plus the charge for a lock change and key replacement if key is not returned at the time of checkout.
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. If Student is removed from University housing or the University as a result of academic dismissal or disciplinary action, Student must vacate Housing within 24 hours of receipt of notification or completion of appeal process. The University may also terminate or suspend this UHC if Student breaches any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, including violating the University's Student Conduct Code or administrative policies. In such cases, Student shall be subject to prorated room charge plus a cancellation fee of $700 charged to Student’s Bursar account. The amount left on Student’s resident dining account will be refunded based on the amount available at time of official check-out.
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY i. The University may cancel this Contract upon default by the student of any contract term. In such case, the student may be required to leave the Residence within 24 hours of notification of cancellation.
ii. A Student removed from a Residence or the University as a result of disciplinary action or a student on academic dismissal who is dis-enrolled from the University will be responsible for the Room and Board Fees for the semester in which the Student is removed or dis-enrolled and may be required to leave the Residence within 24 hours of notification of removal or disenrollment.
iii. The University reserves the right to refuse admission or re-admission to the Residence to a Student and cancel the Contract for reasonable cause. A pro-rated portion of the Room Fees already paid will be credited to the student’s account.
iv. If the Residence assigned to the student is damaged by the Student or the Student's guest and is deemed to be in an unsatisfactory condition by the Director of Residence Life & Housing, the Contract shall terminate, and the student may be required to leave the Residence within 24 hours of notification of such determination. The student will be responsible for payment of Room and Board Fees for the semester in which the cancellation occurs.
v. If the accommodations assigned to the student are destroyed or otherwise rendered uninhabitable through no fault of the Student, and the University cannot furnish other accommodations, the University will cancel the Contract and a pro-rated portion of the Room and Board Fees already paid for the remainder of the Contract Period will be applied to the Student’s account.
vi. The University reserves the right to make needed repairs and renovations of Student residences. If such work will render accommodations uninhabitable, and the University cannot furnish other accommodations, the University will cancel the Contract, and a pro-rated portion of the Room and Board Fees already paid for the remainder of the Contract Period will be applied to the student’s account.
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. For reasonable cause, the University reserves the right to 1) refuse admission or readmission of housing to a student, 2) remove a student from housing at any time, and 3) void the contract. A student on academic dismissal whose contract has been voided by the University must vacate housing within 72 hours of notification. If the accommodations assigned to the student are destroyed or otherwise rendered uninhabitable through no fault of the student, and the University cannot furnish other accommodations, the University reserves the right to, at its discretion, void the contract. In such cases, the unused portion of the housing payments, less any damages for which the student is responsible and outstanding obligations of the University, will be refunded.
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY.
(a) The University may cancel a confirmed booking at any time if there are circumstances beyond the University’s reasonable control, or any other event which in the reasonable opinion of the University, causes the Venue to be unsafe or inappropriate to hold the Function.
(b) The University is not liable for any loss or damage to the Hirer or any third party in consequence of the cancellation in accordance with clause 2.2(a).
(c) In the event of cancellation of a confirmed booking by the University, the University will refund to the Hirer the Deposit or the Hire Fee amount (if already received by the University).
CANCELLATION BY THE UNIVERSITY. The University may cancel the booking:
(a) if circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the University mean it is unable to fulfil the contract
(b) if you become insolvent or enter into liquidation or receivership
(c) if you are more than 32 days in arrears with payment to the University for previously supplied services
(d) if the booking may in the opinion of the University prejudice the reputation of the University or
(e) for any other reason by notice in writing to you, not less than nine months before the event.
