CANCELLATION DUE TO ILLNESS. Should an employee or a member of his/her immediate family as defined in Section 7.1 become ill while the employee is on vacation, the employee may, at his/her option, notify the District to change his/her pay status from vacation leave to sick leave, subject to the following conditions:
