CAR PARKING (All Employees). The Trust's intention is to supply car parking at no charge to all rostered Melbourne & Olympic Parks employees, subject to this clause, wherever possible (excluding the Australian Open and events with State or National significance or extraordinary circumstances) so as to provide accessibility and to encourage employees to be punctual and well groomed. (a) Car parking will be supplied, wherever possible, at no charge to all Trust employees (excluding the Australian Open and events with State or National significance or extraordinary circumstances). (b) Employees will be advised of what car parking areas have been allocated for their use. (c) The Trust reserves the right to redirect employees from the pre-notified car parking area to another car park if this is more appropriate to the needs of the operation. (d) During the Australian Open or an event with State or National significance or extraordinary circumstances car parking will only be provided to permanent employees at no charge. (e) Free car parking for casual employees will not be available during the Australian Open, an event with State or National significance or extraordinary circumstances, however casual employees may wish to pre-purchase parking at an agreed fee per shift during these events from a limited number of available parking spaces. (f) The Trust accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or theft in relation to any employee's vehicle whilst parked on Trust property. Car parking is only available under the Trust's car park terms and conditions which are displayed at the entry points and on tickets. (g) If an occasion arises where the Trust is unable to provide parking due to an event with State or National significance or extraordinary circumstances, the Trust will consult with the Consultative Committee prior to notifying employees of any pending unavailability of car parking at Melbourne & Olympic Parks. (h) The Trust will not be liable for any cost incurred by any employee when parking is not available at Melbourne & Olympic Parks.

(b) Before an employer engages a replacement employee the employer must inform that person of the temporary nature of the employment and of the rights of the employee who is being replaced.

  • Newly Hired Employees All employees hired to an insurance eligible position must make their benefit elections by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. Insurance eligible employees will automatically be enrolled in basic life coverage. If employees eligible for a full Employer Contribution do not choose a health plan administrator and a primary care clinic by their initial effective date, and do not waive medical coverage, they will be enrolled in a Benefit Level Two clinic (or Level One, if available) that meets established access standards in the health plan with the largest number of Benefit Level One and Two clinics in the county of the employee’s residence at the beginning of the insurance year. If an employee does not choose a health plan administrator and primary care clinic by their initial effective date, but was previously covered as a dependent immediately prior to their initial effective date, they will be defaulted to the plan administrator and primary care clinic in which they were previously enrolled.

  • Term Employees 9.1.2.1 A term employee is entitled to all employee benefits under Article 9 unless otherwise specified.

  • Current Employees Employees who are eligible to participate but not deferring shall have Elective Deferrals withheld in the amount of ______ % of Compensation or $_________ of Compensation. Employees and Participants shall have the right to amend the stated automatic Elective Deferral percentage or receive cash in lieu of deferral into the Plan.

  • Student Employees A student employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work which is not ongoing. He/she is normally in the process of completing his/her post-graduate studies and is expected to return to his/her studies after an agreed employment period. The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).

  • Fixed Term Employees The only terms of this Agreement that apply to employees who are not regular employees are those that are set out in Articles 31A, 32, 33 and 34. 31A.1 Articles 31A.2 to 31A.16 apply only to fixed-term employees other than seasonal, student and GO Temp employees.

  • Excluded Employees Employees excluded from the bargaining unit who work for an Employer signatory to this Agreement may participate in any of the foregoing benefits under rules and regulations established by the Trustees. The trustees shall determine the contributions required for such benefits.
