Career Assistance. The Association and District will seek or provide funding to create opportunity for employees and administrators to explore career shifts. Individual employees, the Association, or administrators may recommend that an employee take advantage of the career assistance program.

Career Assistance. You will be provided career support through Next Power to assist you in the transition to your next position.
Career Assistance. X. XXX will provide surplus, downgraded, and displaced Employees the full range of career transition assistance services mandated by OPM’s Career Transition Assistance Plan regulations and applicable Departmental policies on RIF. X. XXX shall provide Employees who are downgraded in a RIF with the full range of priority consideration provided under applicable Departmental directives. X. XXX shall provide Employees with specific notices of separation and former Headquarters Employees who were separated through RIF procedures the full measure of priority reemployment services afforded by OPM’s regulations and applicable Departmental directives. X. XXX will provide Employees with information on how to apply for jobs using the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP). X. XXX will provide Employees with a full range of outplacement assistance and services. These services may include, but are not limited to: 1. assistance in resume preparation and vacancy announcement searches; 2. training on interviewing skills and/or transitioning to the private sector; 3. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling services and private referrals; and 4. individual retirement counseling. F. Under the Department’s Career Transition Assistance Plan, surplus and displaced Employees are allowed a minimum of 40 hours of duty time or administrative leave, as applicable, to use the facilities and services provided, and to conduct job interviews. Each Employee separated through RIF procedures will have access to available and established transition services for 90 days after separation where such services are made available to bargaining unit Employees and such access will not result in additional cost to DOE. G. Employees affected by a RIF shall have the opportunity to confer the servicing shared service center representative, to discuss the action and the information related to the Employee’s RIF action.
Career Assistance. Career Assistance options have been replaced by a career assistance payment.

  • Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Further Assistance Award Recipient will provide assistance reasonably requested by the Company in connection with actions taken by Award Recipient while employed by the Company, including but not limited to assistance in connection with any lawsuits or other claims against the Company arising from events during the period in which Award Recipient was employed by the Company.

  • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel.   • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. See Hennepin County Tuition Reimbursement Policy Frequently Asked Questions Section 2. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.

  • Employee Assistance Drug and alcohol counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance are available from or through the Employer’s employee assistance program provider(s) (E.A.P.).

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.
