Childbearing and Child Rearing i. After completion of the probationary period, an employee may be granted childbearing and/or child rearing leave. A leave of absence for childbearing is a medical leave and up to sixty (60) days of accrued sick leave may be used to receive pay during that leave. Following the childbearing leave, an unpaid child rearing leave shall be granted for up to twelve (12) months.

Childbearing and Child Rearing. A leave ofabsence without pay shall be granted to an employee for the purpose ofchildbearing and/or child rearing on the follo"ing conditions:
Childbearing and Child Rearing. A leave of absence without pay and other fringe benefits shall be granted to a teacher for the purpose of childbearing and child rearing. A teacher who is pregnant shall be entitled to a leave of absence of up to one school year (188 days) beginning any time after the commencement of her pregnancy. The School Board may grant a continuance, at the teacher’s request, to this leave of absence to provide continuity of instruction. In all cases, cooperative efforts will be made for a returning teacher to return at a natural break in the school calendar (i.e. vacation, holiday or beginning of a marking term). The teacher shall notify the Superintendent at least thirty (30) days prior to the date on which the leave is to begin, except in cases of emergency. Disability resulting from pregnancy, miscarriage or childbirth shall entitle a teacher to collect sick leave while on the leave of absence in accordance with Federal law. A male teacher shall be entitled, upon request, to a leave of absence of up to one school year (188 days) immediately following the birth of his child. The teacher shall notify the Superintendent at least thirty (30) days prior to the date on which the leave is to begin, except in cases of emergency. Adoptive leave of absence, upon request, shall be granted for up to one school year (188 days) immediately following the adoption. The teacher shall notify the Superintendent at least thirty (30) days prior to the date on which the child is physically turned over to the teacher-parent except in cases of emergency. All benefits to which a teacher was entitled at the start of the leave, including unused sick leave, seniority, etc., shall be restored upon the teacher's return.

  • Child Rearing Teachers shall be granted a leave for child rearing purposes of up to one (1) year without pay or increment. This includes both adoption and birth. Upon written request, such leave may be extended up to one (1) year without pay or increment.

  • CHILD AND DEPENDENT ADULT/ELDER ABUSE REPORTING CONTRACTOR shall establish a procedure acceptable to ADMINISTRATOR to ensure that all employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement report child abuse or neglect to one of the agencies specified in Penal Code Section 11165.9 and dependent adult or elder abuse as defined in Section 15610.07 of the WIC to one of the agencies specified in WIC Section 15630. CONTRACTOR shall require such employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement to sign a statement acknowledging the child abuse reporting requirements set forth in Sections 11166 and 11166.05 of the Penal Code and the dependent adult and elder abuse reporting requirements, as set forth in Section 15630 of the WIC, and shall comply with the provisions of these code sections, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time. The provisions of Chapter 12T are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein.   • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.

  • Child Care A. Employees employed as of March 1 who meet the following criteria shall be eligible for a lump sum payment each year. Eligible employees may apply for this payment between March 1 and April 15 of each year. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of the completed application. Any application received after April 15 will be considered on a case by case basis and shall not be arbitrarily rejected.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Marketing and Outreach CONTRACTOR shall identify culturally and linguistically appropriate measures for reaching older adults in need of transportation and determine procedures for implementation of outreach, which may include, but is not limited to, brochures, flyers, and public presentations. In order to ensure effective collaboration and coordination of services, a CONTRACTOR shall be required to submit drafts of all printed materials related to outreach and marketing of OoA Senior Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Fixed-Price Per Mile Program services to OoA for approval before publication and dissemination.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.
