Footwear and Uniforms i. Employees shall be allowed an annual allotment of up to $300 to purchase footwear and/or appropriate work-related clothing. One (1) pair of footwear is permitted per contract year. In addition, if needed, on an annual basis, the District will supply each employee in this group up to three (3) tee shirts, two (2) collared (polo) shirts and three (3) sweatshirts. Once during the three-year term of this agreement, and if needed, the District agrees to provide one (1) winter jacket. Bus Mechanics will receive eleven (11) uniforms consisting of eleven (11) shirts and eleven (11) pants to be provided and maintained (laundered) by an outside vendor at District expense. Requests for reimbursement must be received by April 30th each year of this agreement.

Footwear and Uniforms. (a) Boot Allowance All regular outside employees will have one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of a pair of safety-toe work boots to a maximum of one hundred and seventy-five dollars ($175.00) by the City, as wear dictates.

  • UNIFORMS AND CLOTHING (a) Each employee shall receive a standard uniform issue as defined in the Vermont State Police Operations Manual, which shall include a dress blouse.

  • FURNITURE CLASSIFICATIONS Furniture classifications include but not limited to: Cafeteria, Dormitory, Library Shelving and Library Related, Lounge, Systems (Modular), School (Classroom), Freestanding, Seating, Filing Systems and Equipment, and Technology Support.

  • Shiftworkers 35.1 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who performs Shiftwork and who starts or finishes a shift outside of the ordinary hours set out at clause 34.2 above.

  • Uniform Cleaning The County agrees to provide for a contract cleaning arrangement whereby pickup service will be available at the Yakima County Department of Corrections. Cleaning shall be authorized for all personnel required to wear uniforms in the course of their employment. The County shall determine the place where such clothing shall be cleaned and make disbursements directly to the contract cleaner(s).

  • WORK UNIFORMS Employees who are required to wear uniforms as a condition of employment shall be furnished such uniforms by the Appointing Authority. Proper maintenance of uniforms is an employee responsibility unless they are currently maintained by the Employer or unless required by statute or other regulatory agencies because of contamination (see Article 22). Uniforms shall not be used for off-duty activity by the employee.

  • Allowances § 3.8.1 The Contractor shall include in the Contract Sum all allowances stated in the Contract Documents. Items covered by allowances shall be supplied for such amounts and by such persons or entities as the Owner may direct, but the Contractor shall not be required to employ persons or entities to whom the Contractor has reasonable objection.

  • UNIFORMS AND TOOLS The Employer agrees to furnish and supply all its employees, without cost, laundered aprons and uniforms and such tools as are necessary in the discharge of their work and also service such tools at no cost to the employees.
