CLASS LOAD AND SCHEDULINGWORKLOAD SCHEDULING AND REEMPLOYMENT PREFERENCE. 7.1. a Workload 7.1.1 A unit member may be assigned a workload amount equal to or less than sixty-seven percent (67%) of the annual workload of a full time faculty member performing comparable work, which is equated as follows: a. Instructional assignments (credit and noncredit): 10 LHE per semester, exclusive of intersession terms. b. Counselors and Librarians: 23.45 hours per week, from July 1−December 31 and January 1−June 30. Counselors and librarians who also have an instructional assignment during the fall or spring semester will have the number of assigned counseling or librarian hours per week reduced in direct proportion to the assigned percentage of full time load. Department chairs/lead instructors shall have the ability to recommend to the xxxx or designee the scheduling of unit members up to this limit. 7.1.2 Unless otherwise provided specifically within the terms of this agreement, all work assignments to unit members will be made and compensated in increments of LHE (FTE) and be fully reflective of all discipline-based workload measures as defined in Exhibit E, Administrative Procedures for Implementation of Sections 8-14, Board Policy V.B, and all subsequent agreements between the District and the Academic Senate. All hourly, non-instructional assignments made to counselors and librarians will be compensated based on the total number of hours worked per month. 7.1. b3 The content of curriculum, including the categorization of a class as lecture, lab, performance, etc. is an academic and professional matter as defined by AB 1725. The process of assigning the LHE values includes review by the Academic Senate Council, and final approval by the superintendent/president. Before the superintendent/president approves an LHE recommendation from the Academic Senate he/she will provide an opportunity for the Association to comment on the recommendation and those comments will be taken into consideration before he/she makes the final decision. Such notification shall be in writing and the Association shall have a minimum of ten (10) working days to respond in writing. 7.1. c4 Department chairs/lead instructors shall have the ability to recommend to the xxxx or administrative designee the scheduling for assignment of unit members up to the maximum percentage allowed by law of the annual contractual full-time faculty workload of thirty (30) LHE (1.00 FTE) divided evenly between fall and spring semesters.   • Files Management and Record Retention relating to Grantee and Administration of this Agreement a. The Grantee shall maintain books, records, and documents in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures and practices which sufficiently and properly reflect all expenditures of funds provided by Florida Housing under this Agreement. b. Contents of the Files: Grantee must maintain files containing documentation to verify all funds awarded to Grantee in connection with this Agreement, as well as reports, records, documents, papers, letters, computer files, or other material received, generated, maintained or filed by Grantee in connection with this Agreement. Grantee must also keep files, records, computer files, and reports that reflect any compensation it receives or will receive in connection with this Agreement.

The Form is required each month whether LOWER SHORE ENTERPRISES is sending an invoice to DORS or not.

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time. The provisions of Chapter 12T are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. The text of the Chapter 12T is available on the web at xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/fco. Contractor is required to comply with all of the applicable provisions of 12T, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12T. 10.14.2 The requirements of Chapter 12T shall only apply to a Contractor’s or Subcontractor’s operations to the extent those operations are in furtherance of the performance of this Agreement, shall apply only to applicants and employees who would be or are performing work in furtherance of this Agreement, and shall apply when the physical location of the employment or prospective employment of an individual is wholly or substantially within the City of San Francisco. Chapter 12T shall not apply when the application in a particular context would conflict with federal or state law or with a requirement of a government agency implementing federal or state law.

  • SAFETY CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT A. The District and its employees shall be safety conscious in their conduct and actions and shall cooperate in the implementation of the District's safety program. B. Employees shall report any unsafe or unhealthy conditions directly to their supervisor. The District shall conduct investigations of employee reports and take appropriate measures as soon as possible. The employee shall be informed by the principal or designee of the results of the investigation and of whatever action is to be taken. Safety violations will be corrected within ten (10) working days whenever possible. C. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe conditions or to perform tasks which endanger their health and safety. D. First aid supplies and first aid treatment shall be available to employees at each school site. A first aid kit shall be provided for each District vehicle used to transport pupils and shall be taken on all field trips. E. Personal protection equipment required by an employee's job duties shall be available from the principal or designee at each school site. F. An employee shall immediately report any assaults in connection with his/her employment to the principal or immediate supervisor who shall report the incident to the appropriate law enforcement agency and the District Office. 1. An employee may exercise the same degree of physical control over a pupil that a parent would be legally privileged to exercise, but which in no event shall exceed the amount of physical control reasonably necessary to maintain order, protect property, or protect the health and safety of pupils. 2. An employee shall receive applicable insurance and leave benefits for any injury incurred under the provisions of this Paragraph. 3. Employees shall be reimbursed for damage to personal property resulting from assault under the provisions of this Paragraph. 4. When the continued presence of a pupil in a class represents a physical danger to a teacher, the teacher may request that the principal institute suspension procedures in accordance with District policy. 5. The District's "Student Discipline Policy" shall be made available to employees.

  • Printing and Distribution of Agreement The Medical Center and the Association shall equally share expenses for the printing of an adequate supply of copies of this Agreement. The Medical Center will make available a suitable number of copies of the Agreement on each nursing unit following the Association’s delivery of the printed copies to the Medical Center.
