Compensation During Required Training Periods. An employee who is required to attend training sessions or otherwise engage in training of any kind in order to continue his/her employment in a position shall receive compensation as follows:
11.11.1 When the training occurs during the employee’s regularly assigned working hours, the employee shall be paid at his/her regular rate of pay and shall receive all benefits to which he/she is entitled.
11.11.2 When the regularly assigned hours and the hours of training combined total in excess of eight (8) hours on a regularly assigned workday, or when the training occurs at any time other than the regularly assigned workweek, the employee shall be paid at the overtime rate appropriate for the day and/or time at which the training occurs. The overtime rate shall be based on the employee’s regular rate of pay.

Compensation During Required Training Periods. An employee who is required and directed by the District to attend training sessions shall be compensated at his/her appropriate rate of pay.

7.11.1 When the training occurs during the employee's regularly assigned working hours, the employee shall be paid at his/her regular rate of pay and shall receive all benefits to which he/she is entitled.
7.11.2 When training sessions are on Saturday and the provisions of Section 6.6 apply, the employee shall receive the overtime rate appropriate for the date and/or time at which training occurs. The overtime rate shall be based on the employee's regular rate of pay.
7.11.3 All costs incurred for a training program required by the Office including employee transportation, registration fees, and supplies shall be paid for by the Office.

7.16.1 When the training occurs during the unit member's regularly assigned working hours, the unit member shall be paid his/her regular rate of pay and shall receive all benefits to which he/she is entitled.
7.16.2 When the regularly assigned hours and the hours of training combined total in excess of eight (8) hours on a regularly assigned workday, or when the training occurs at any time other than the regular assigned workweek, the employee shall be paid at the overtime rate appropriate for the day and/or time at which the training occurs. The overtime rate shall be based on the unit member's regular rate of pay.
7.16.3 If approved in advance by the District and later substantiated by receipts from the unit member, all costs incurred under a mandated training program, for transportation, registration, or supplies shall be paid by the District.

7.14.2 All costs incurred under a District mandated training program for registration fees and supplies shall be paid for by the District.
Compensation During Required Training Periods. A unit member who is required to attend training sessions or otherwise engage in training of any kind as a condition of the unit member’s employment in a position shall receive compensation as follows:
6.9.1 When the training occurs during the unit members regularly assigned working hours, the unit member shall be paid at their regular rate of pay and shall receive all benefits to which they are entitled.
6.9.2 When the regularly assigned hours and the hours of training combined total in excess of eight (8) hours on a regularly assigned workday, or forty (40) hours in a workweek, the unit member shall be paid at the overtime rate appropriate for that day or time at which the training occurs. The overtime rate shall be based in accordance with the overtime provisions of this contract.
6.9.3 All costs incurred under a mandated training program for unit member transportation, registration fees, and supplies shall be paid for by the District.
6.9.4 Unless excused by their immediate supervisor, a unit member who does not attend a mandated training session after receiving at least fifteen (15) work days prior notice, assumes full responsibility as an individual for meeting the training requirements at their own expense.
