COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. The full-time work schedule for a computer technician shall consist of an eight (8) hour day and a forty (40) hour week.
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. A. Assignments of Computer Technicians shall be made by the Director of Information Technology.
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. ARTICLE XXXXI EVALUATIONS Each computer technician shall be evaluated at least once a year no later than April 30. Employees shall have the right to respond to said evaluation report. A copy of this response shall be signed by the evaluator and the employee and said response shall be attached to each copy of the evaluation form. Employees shall be given a copy of any evaluation report not later than seven (7) days after it is made. SECTION SIX – COMPUTER TECHNICIANS ARTICLE XXXXII
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. E. Layoffs. Reductions in the numbers of employees in any of the four (4) occupation groups shall be according to the application of the following procedures
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. The normal hours of work for computer technicians shall be eight (8) hours per day.
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. Employees shall be included on one of the following seniority rosters within the Computer Technicians Department:
(1) Category I - Level I Computer Technicians, 260 days/year
(2) Category II - Level II Computer Technicians, 260 days/year
(3) Category III – Level I Computer Technicians, 230 days/year
(4) Category IV – Level II Computer Technicians, 230 days/year
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. A. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
1. Work Week
a. The standard workweek for all Computer Technician employees of the Association shall be based on a forty (40) hour week consisting of five (5) eight- hour days. Shift assignments will be arranged by the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology or their designee.
b. During the academic year (September 1 through June 30), all Computer Technicians shall receive one fifteen (15) minute break in the morning and a forty-five (45) minute lunch. During the summer (July 1 through August 31), all Technicians shall receive two fifteen (15) minute breaks and a thirty (30) minute lunch daily as scheduled by the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology or their designee.
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. For computer technicians that are twelve (12) month employees, the following provisions apply:
1. The work year for twelve (12) month computer technicians shall be July 1 through June 30.
2. Each computer technician shall be granted four (4) weeks (20 days) for vacation periods during their work year.
3. A full year’s credit of vacation entitlement shall be granted if the employee has been on the payroll for more than one-half (1/2) the work year for that employee.
4. An employee who has been on the payroll for less than one-half (1/2) year shall be granted vacation time as follows: January start date, 10 days February start date, 8 days March start date, 6 days April start date, 4 days May start date, 2 days June start date, 0 days.
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. This group includes persons who regularly carry out the functions of IT systems and developments, and who are suitably qualified to do so. This group includes project managers, analysts, technical systems staff, programming systems staff and systems assistants. Professional group D.- Administration and operation. Administrative staff are those persons who, using operational and IT resources, carry out the administrative functions of the company on a regular basis. The people in charge of carrying out Contact Centre operation tasks, answering or managing calls, and/or administrative, commercial, public relations, organisational, quality control, etc. activities, either individually or coordinating or forming a group of them, belong to the operation. This group includes heads of administration, technical administrative staff, officers, administrative assistants, service managers, supervisory, coordination and training staff, quality agents, managers, managers and tele-operator/operator staff in any grade.
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. An employee who is resigning from his/her position shall give a required thirty days written notice.
