CONSIDERATION OF QUALIFICATIONS. The Employer will endeavor to make its decision based on the criteria established at the start of the hiring process. Denial of an internal transfer shall only be on the basis of the applicant not possessing either the qualifications or skills, or if the Employer deems the candidate not suitable for the vacancy. The Employer will be solely responsible for determining whether an Internal Applicant possesses the qualifications, skills, and ability to perform the tasks and responsibilities as defined for the Vacancy in Appendix A, and accordingly whether to transfer them to the Vacancy or not. The Employer shall make these determinations in a fair and equitable manner.

Denial of an internal transfer shall only be on the basis of the applicant not possessing either the qualifications, skills, or if the Committee deems the candidate not suitable for the vacancy. The Employer will be solely responsible for determining whether an Internal Applicant possesses the qualifications, skills and ability to perform the tasks and responsibilities as defined for the vacancy in Appendix B, and accordingly whether to transfer them to the vacancy or not. The Employer shall make these determinations in a fair and equitable manner.

Terms referring to "qualified" or "qualifications" when used in this Agreement means qualified to competently perform the job, without further training in a safe, efficient and productive manner. If the employee is not so qualified, the applicable seniority provisions will not apply.

  • Vendor Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Based on the Contractor’s submission, OGS has determined that Contractor met the minimum qualifications for the lot(s) as identified in Appendix G, Contractor and OGS Information. If Contractor is awarded Lot 1 as a New York State Certified Minority- or Women- Owned Business Enterprise or as a New York State Small Business, Contractor agrees that it must retain at least one of such statuses to retain its Lot 1 award.   • General Qualifications General qualifications commonly required of all candidates for, appointees to, and employees in the classified service such as integrity, honesty, sobriety, dependability, industry, thoroughness, accuracy, good judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, courtesy, ability to work cooperatively with others, good health, and freedom from disabling defects, shall be deemed to be a part of the personal characteristics of the minimum qualifications of each class specification and need not be specifically set forth therein. The Commission may prescribe alternative or additional qualifications for individual classes and such qualifications also shall be deemed to be a part of the specifications for such classes.

  • Driver Qualifications All drivers shall be trained and qualified in the operation of collection vehicles, and must have in effect a valid license, of the appropriate class, issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Contractor shall use the Class II California Department of Motor Vehicles employer “Pull Notice Program” to monitor its drivers for safety.
