Contribution of Sick Leave Days. The CIILB shall be formed and maintained by bargaining unit members who voluntarily contribute one (1) sick day when a need is declared by the CIILB Committee. If the CIILB Committee declares a need for the contribution of an additional sick leave day by CIILB members, a member may choose not to contribute the sick leave day. Refusal to contribute a sick leave day when the need is declared by the CIILB Committee shall be a resignation from the CIILB and sick leave days contributed shall not be credited back to the resigning member.

Contribution of Sick Leave Days. The SLB shall be formed and maintained by bargaining unit members who voluntarily contribute one (1) sick day when a need is declared by the SLB Committee. If the SLB Committee declares a need for the contribution of an additional sick leave day by SLB members, a member may choose not to contribute the sick leave day. Refusal to contribute a sick leave day when the need is declared by the SLB Committee shall be a resignation from the SLB and sick leave days contributed shall not be credited back to the resigning member.
Contribution of Sick Leave Days. Employees must contribute the required hours of sick leave to the Sick Leave Bank.
Contribution of Sick Leave Days. A member who elects to participate in the Sick Leave Bank shall contribute one current sick leave day in October of the school year, and may contribute an additional day in February if requested to do so by the Committee. A new member who elects to participate in the Sick Leave Bank shall contribute three current sick leave days upon initial enrollment in October of the school year, and may contribute an additional day in February if requested to do so by the Committee. Members must elect to participate for the full year by October 1st of that school year, with the exception of employees hired after that date. Anyone hired during the school year may elect to participate within thirty days of their date of hire. Employees that have reached the maximum number of days that they are allowed to accumulate at the end of the school year, may donate days to the sick pool that would have been lost.
Contribution of Sick Leave Days. A member who newly elects to participate in the Sick Leave Bank shall contribute one current CLT day in October of the school year. Members must elect to participate for the full year by October 1st of that school year, with the exception of unit members hired after that date. In the event that the current balance in the Sick Leave Bank is above 500 days, only those wishing to join the bank for the first time will contribute one day. Anyone hired during the school year may elect to participate within 30 days of his/her date of hire. Unit members electing to become members of the sick Leave Bank shall not be required to contribute more than one CLT day during their first year of membership in the bank.

  • Accumulation of Sick Leave The unused portion of an Employee's sick leave shall accrue for her future benefit, up to a maximum of one hundred and thirty (130) days.

  • Utilization of Sick Leave Employees who have accrued paid leave time shall be eligible for paid leave for any period of absence from employment which includes but is not limited to the employee’s illness; injury; temporary disability; medical or dental care; or to attend to members of the employee’s or the employee’s spouse’s immediate family or domestic partner or domestic partner’s immediate family, where the employee’s presence is required because of illness or as otherwise required by the state or federal Family Medical Leave Act or other State law.   • Donation of Sick Leave The District shall allow unit members to donate sick leave to individual employees who have suffered long-term disabilities or illnesses. Donating unit members shall retain a thirty (30) day balance of sick leave after their donation and may donate no more than twenty-five (25) days of sick leave per year. The donation form is Appendix I. Part-time faculty may receive sick leave donations from any employee, and may donate accumulated sick leave to other part-time faculty following the same requirements as outlined above. Part-time faculty may not donate sick leave to full- time employees.

  • Exhaustion of Sick Leave For reasons valid under the conditions specified in this collective bargaining agreement for sick leave, anyone who exhausts sick leave will be granted leave without pay due to the exhaustion of sick leave. The stipulations of the bargaining contract apply regarding licensed health care provider verification, etc.
