CORE SKILLS AND TRAINING. 3.1 Training provided in relation to this service is compulsory for every staff member involved in the service. Pharmacy Assistants can offer the screening kit distribution service by attending the training offered, but the treatment part of the service must be provided by accredited pharmacists. A minimum of one pharmacist per pharmacy should attend the training programme to become an accredited pharmacy. 3.2 The pharmacy contractor has the responsibility to ensure that all staff including locums involved in providing the service have appropriate knowledge and are appropriately trained i.e. attendance at a Chlamydia training programme provide by Cambridgeshire Chlamydia Screening Service. 3.3 The pharmacy contractor has the responsibility to ensure that pharmacists and staff involved in the provision of the service are aware of and act in accordance with local protocols. 3.4 The pharmacy contractor has the responsibility to ensure that their service has the recommended quality controls in place and that the service can demonstrate compliance. 3.5 Training will be provided free of charge by the Cambridgeshire Chlamydia Screening Service. 3.6 Pharmacists must have successfully completed the following training packages to become accredited for this service: Xxxx I thought this was being phased out? i.e. CPPE CPPE on line training - Sexual Health: testing and treating. Pharmacy Assistants can offer the service by attending the Cambridgeshire County Council training provided by the Specialist Smoking Cessation Service CAMQUIT and where the pharmacy assistant is not working in isolation and has full support and mentoring from their Pharmacist. A minimum of one pharmacist per pharmacy and one pharmacy assistant should attend CAMQUIT training programme to become an accredited pharmacy. Consideration will be given to pharmacies that are unable to provide a pharmacist for the Cambridgeshire County Council training programme where CAMQUIT can be assured that the Pharmacy can satisfy 7.3. 7.2 The pharmacy contractor has the responsibility to ensure that all staff including locums involved in providing the service are appropriately trained i.e. attendance at a Cambridgeshire County Council organised smoking cessation training programme. 7.3 The pharmacy contractor has the responsibility to ensure that pharmacists and staff involved in the provision of the service are aware of and act in accordance with the Service Specification, Cambridgeshire County Council protocols and NICE guidance (see appendix 1). 7.4 The pharmacy contractor has the responsibility to ensure that their service has the recommended quality controls in place and that the service can demonstrate compliance. 7.5 Training will be provided free of charge by the CAMQUIT Service and will be provided by accredited trainers. Advisors must attend annual update training. 7.6 All advisors are encouraged to access the nationally accredited certification which is available free of charge via the National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training website.

Training will be provided free of charge locally as agreed by the JCU and will be provided by accredited trainers. The level of training should be brief intervention training and also an induction into the local service and NRT products (maximum 2 hours). All advisors are encouraged to access the nationally accredited certification which is available free of charge via the National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training website xxx.xxxxx.xx.xx.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Professional Development and Training The Company shall pay for or reimburse the Executive for any reasonable professional development or training.

  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers. 2. Regular review of its job-related and career development and training programs will be made by the State in order to provide suitable programs for employees covered by this Agreement. When undertaking any such review, the State shall notify employees of such review and take into account suggestions and proposals made by employees. 3. Employees shall be given a reasonable notice of applicable, development and training programs available. Such notice shall include an explanation of the procedure for applying for the program. Notices of development and training programs shall be posted for reasonable periods in advance on bulletin boards at applicable work locations within the agencies involved. An appointing authority shall make every effort to permit employees' participation in such career development and training programs. Participation in any training inside or outside of work hours which is required by the State as a condition of fulfilling the requirements of the employee's job, or any in-service State training which is conducted or undertaken during normally scheduled work hours will be considered as time worked. 4. The State shall pay tuition, course-related fees, other approved course required costs and for necessary travel and lodging pursuant to established policies and procedures.

  • Skills Development The Company acknowledges the changing pace of technology in the electrical contracting industry and the need for employees to understand those changes and have the necessary skill requirements to keep the Company at the forefront of the industry. The Parties to this Agreement recognise that in order to increase the efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of the Company, a commitment to training and skill development is required. Where, by agreement between the employee and employer, an employee undertakes training providing skills, which are not a company specific requirement, any time spent in the completion of this training shall be unpaid.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Specialist Schools Allowance Funding equivalent to that which a maintained school with the Academy's characteristics would receive in respect of their participation in the specialist schools programme. In the year of conversion, this may continue to be paid by the Local Authority;

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.
