Current Bargaining Unit Members. The parties further agree that it is not their intent to replace or displace through funds provided through State or Federal programs, either in whole or in part, in any way, currently employed bargaining unit members employed on the effective date of this Agreement, or to cause the loss of work or wages or benefits of the same.

Current Bargaining Unit Members. All current bargaining unit member’s pay rates will be based on their December 31, 2011 “year- end hourly wage” as established in this Agreement.

If training skills and previous experience are equal, seniority will be the determining factor. Current bargaining unit members shall be considered before outside applicants are considered.

Section 26.2 New (Probationary) Bargaining Unit Members. A newly hired full-time employee and employees transferring into the bargaining unit may be placed at a wage rate to be determined at the sole discretion of the Employer but not below the entry rate or more than ten percent (10%) above entry rate.
