Curriculum Committee Work. Certificated employees who participate in District curriculum development committees/activities will be compensated for the time spent over and above their normal workday excluding mandatory benefits at the rate of $35.00 per hour. The District retains the right to limit the number of certificated employees involved in curriculum development/activities. Time spent participating in the above activities will be documented and reported monthly by the employee on a district time sheet to the appropriate District administrator. Time sheets must be submitted on/or before the tenth of the month in order to be included in that months pay check.

Curriculum Committee Work. 13.1 In the interest of system-wide curriculum improvement, the appropriate central office administrator and an advisory body of faculty members serving as department chairs/resource chairs (or other designee approved by the principal in consultation with the department) shall cooperate as a committee to review and discuss curriculum work.
Curriculum Committee Work. Every attempt will be made not to remove teachers from instructional or preparation time to write curriculum. Curriculum writing will be compensated at rates of $750 for a full year course, $375 for a semester course, $188 for a quarter course. Administrators will seek volunteers to write curriculum within their area(s) of certification. Should the curriculum not be completed and approved by the Superintendent or his designee prior to August 15 of the year assigned, such failure to complete will be noted, as appropriate, in the teacher’s subsequent evaluation.
Curriculum Committee Work. With the advice and consent of the appropriate curriculum leader and administrator, professionals may elect to participate in an intensive curriculum committee work group that supports a curriculum recommendation, investigates a current need or implements a knowledge gained through attending conferences and workshops. The professional shall prepare a year-end report that describes the impact of the committee work on the individual’s instructional practice and/or professional development and the needs of the district. Individual/Group Project* A professional or group of professionals may collaborate with the appropriate administrator to design a group or individual project that would contribute to enhancing professional growth. A pre-project conference shall be held to set goals and outline the project. A conference shall be held near the end of the year to present the project report and discuss what has been learned. Such projects may continue across more than one year with annual progress checks. Research* The professional shall research an approved topic that relates to the level or area taught. The professional shall prepare a research report which includes a description of the impact of the project on the professionals’ instructional practice. Self-Reflection Focus Activities shall include the following: Lesson Study* The professional shall plan, review and analyze a minimum of two of their lessons that have been video-taped. Best practices, student reaction and plans for lesson modification shall be documented and presented in the project report.

  • Curriculum Committee The Curriculum Committee shall consist of sixteen (16) members of the bargaining unit, three (3) students, and three (3) administrators; provided, however, that in the case of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the Curriculum Committee shall be composed of ten (10) members of the bargaining unit, two (2) students, and two (2) administrators.

  • Committee Work All time spent by employees on Employer established committees and committees mentioned in this contract (including side letters) shall be considered time worked and shall be paid at the appropriate rate of pay. Time spent on committee work will not be counted towards the calculation of overtime.

  • Curriculum Work Service on a District curriculum committee shall be required for grade level or department chairpersons. All other teachers working on such committee(s) shall be designated (in writing) by the Curriculum Director and shall be paid, at the hourly rate contained in Schedule B, for all documented hours of committee service (up to such limits as may be imposed by the District) occurring when school is not in session (e.g. during the summer), during duty-free lunch periods or preparation periods, and before/after the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day. Curriculum committee work shall occur at such times as are determined or approved by the Curriculum Director.

  • Curriculum Vitae (a) The Chief Librarian shall maintain a curriculum vita for each Librarian. It is the Librarian’s responsibility to ensure that the curriculum vita on file is kept current. Members shall prepare their curriculum vita with the advice and assistance of their Chief Librarian. Members may revise their curriculum vita at any time.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.
