DAILY PLANNING PERIOD. The planning period is part of the teacher’s contracted day. Each teacher will have a minimum of 250 minutes scheduled each week for preparation within the student day, and/or conferences with one block of no less than thirty (30) consecutive minutes. Weeks which include Late Start may reduce plan time to 240 minutes. Late Start does not constitute part of plan time total. Plan periods are not guaranteed on a daily basis but will be scheduled four out of every five days. This period will be free from all duties, including but not limited to playground, hall, lunchroom, or study hall. Every effort will be made to give the teacher 24 hours’ notice of Administrative meetings, Professional Development, Program Enhancement, or Curriculum Alignment that will use part of their daily planning period. Plan periods shall not be used for travel or passing time.

DAILY PLANNING PERIOD. Each Professional Employee will have a daily planning period defined as follows: 1. A planning period shall be at least forty-five (45) consecutive minutes each school day in grades 6-12. 2. K-5 elementary Professional Employees shall have a planning period of at least 50 consecutive minutes per day. 3. Professional Employees of elementary vocal music, physical education, library, art, and computer shall have a daily planning period. No less than two hundred ten (210) minutes per week shall be scheduled in a manner that is convenient both to the Professional Employee and to the overall school schedule. In addition to planning time, all traveling Professional Employees shall have ten (10) minutes traveling time for each change of attendance center. 4. When a Professional Employee’s assignments are split between elementary and secondary levels the Professional Employee shall have no less than two hundred ten (210) minutes per week to be scheduled in a manner that is convenient both to the Professional Employee and to the overall school district.
DAILY PLANNING PERIOD. During student attendance, each teacher at a departmentalized grade level will have a minimum of 40 consecutive duty-free minutes daily for planning. During student attendance, all other teachers will receive one duty-free fifteen-minute planning period daily and an additional 170 minutes weekly for planning. The goal is to provide a minimum of one duty-free 15-minute planning period per day with a special to be scheduled in the other half day. The above may not hold true on days of early dismissal, special school programs, testing, or other interruptions. The teacher's planning period, if not affected by these interruptions, will not be denied or altered.

DAILY PLANNING PERIOD. A. All full time teachers will have, whenever possible, a daily planning time of at least forty (40) consecutive minutes. At least three (3) daily planning times per week shall be used for individual planning and shall be uninterrupted except when agreed upon by the building principal and the teacher. Teachers teaching half-time or more shall receive planning/conference time proportionate to the length of their workday. All remaining planning times per week (i.e. up to two (2)) may be used for conferencing and other instructional needs including but not limited to IEP, IAT or other student-related meetings that occur during planning time. Both parties acknowledge that on days when the start of school is delayed or on those days when school is released early, the planning time contemplated herein may not be available.

  • Planning Period All observations must be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the employee.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Evaluation Period Until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 16, 2002 (the "Evaluation Period"), Purchaser and its authorized agents and representatives (for purposes of this Article V, the "Licensee Parties") shall have the right, subject to the right of any Tenants, to enter upon the Real Property at all reasonable times during normal business hours to perform an inspection of the Real Property, the Improvements and the Personal Property. Purchaser will provide to Seller notice (for purposes of this Section 5.1(a), an "Entry Notice") of the intention of Purchaser or the other Licensee Parties to enter the Real Property at least 24 hours prior to such intended entry and specify the intended purpose therefor and the inspections and examinations contemplated to be made and with whom any Licensee Party will communicate. At Seller's option, Seller may be present for any such entry and inspection. Purchaser shall not communicate with or contact any of the Tenants or any of the Authorities without the prior written consent of Seller, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. If Purchaser shall elect to communicate with any of the Authorities and Seller consents thereto, Purchaser shall give Seller prior notice thereof, and Seller and Seller's representatives shall have the right, but not the obligation, to attend, and participate in, all such meetings. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, no so-called Phase II environmental physical testing or sampling shall be conducted during any such entry by Purchaser or any Licensee Party upon the Real Property without Seller's specific prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or unduly delayed. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE with respect to the provisions of this Section 5.1.

  • Distribution Compliance Period The Purchaser agrees not to resell, pledge or transfer any Purchased Shares within the United States or to any U.S. Person, as each of those terms is defined in Regulation S, during the 40 days following the Closing Date.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • Multi-year Planning Targets Schedule A may reflect an allocation for the first Funding Year of this Agreement as well as planning targets for up to two additional years, consistent with the term of this Agreement. In such an event, the HSP acknowledges that if it is provided with planning targets, these targets: a. are targets only, b. are provided solely for the purposes of planning, c. are subject to confirmation, and d. may be changed at the discretion of the Funder in consultation with the HSP. The HSP will proactively manage the risks associated with multi-year planning and the potential changes to the planning targets; and the Funder agrees that it will communicate any changes to the planning targets as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Planning for Future Years (a) Advance Notice. The Funder will give at least 60 Days’ Notice to the HSP of the date by which a Planning Submission, approved by the HSP’s governing body, must be submitted to the Funder.

  • Billing Period The calendar month shall be the standard period for all charges and payments under this Agreement. On or before the fifteenth (15th) day following the end of each month, Seller shall render to Buyer an invoice for the payment obligations incurred hereunder during the preceding month, based on the Energy Delivered in the preceding month, and any RECs deposited in Buyer’s GIS account or a GIS account designated by Buyer to Seller in writing in the preceding month. Such invoice shall contain supporting detail for all charges reflected on the invoice, and Seller shall provide Buyer with additional supporting documentation and information as Buyer may request.

  • HSR Waiting Period The waiting period applicable to the consummation of the Merger under the HSR Act shall have expired or been terminated.

  • Meal Period Employees shall receive a meal period which shall commence no less than two (2) hours nor more than five (5) hours from the beginning of the employee's regular shift or when the employee is called in to work on their regular day off. The meal period shall be no less than one-half (½) hour nor more than one (1) hour in duration and shall be without compensation. Should an employee be required to work in excess of five (5) continuous hours from the commencement of their regular shift without being provided a meal period, the employee shall be compensated two (2) times the employee's straight-time hourly rate of pay for the time worked during their normal meal period and be afforded a meal period at the first available opportunity during working hours without compensation.
