Denied Boarding Compensation. If a Passenger holding a Confirmed Reservation presents him or herself for carriage at the appropriate time and place, having complied fully with Carrier's requirements as to reservations and check-in, and if the flight for which the Passenger holds a Confirmed Reservation is oversold and due to over sales, Delux Public Charter is unable to accommodate the Passenger and departs without him or her, the Passenger shall be entitled to the denied boarding compensation described in Section 26B immediately below unless (i) the Passenger responds to Carrier’s request for volunteers and who willingly accepts Carriers’ offer of compensation, in any amount; or (ii) one of the exceptions to eligibility for denied boarding compensation in Section 26D below applies. For the sake of clarity, a Passenger who responds to Carrier’s request for volunteers and who willingly accepts Carrier’s offer of compensation shall not be considered to be involuntarily denied boarding and shall not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.
Denied Boarding Compensation a. If a Passenger holding a Confirmed Reservation presents him or herself for carriage at the appropriate time and place, having complied fully with Carrier's requirements as to reservations and check-in, and if the flight for which the Passenger holds a Confirmed Reservation is oversold and, due to oversales, JetBlue is unable to accommodate the Passenger and departs without him or her, the Passenger shall be entitled to the denied boarding compensation described in Section 27B immediately below, unless (i) the Passenger responds to Xxxxxxx’s request for volunteers and who willingly accepts Xxxxxxxx’ offer of compensation, in any amount; or (ii) one of the exceptions to eligibility for denied boarding compensation in Section 27D below applies. For the sake of clarity, a Passenger who responds to Xxxxxxx’s request for volunteers and who willingly accepts Xxxxxxx’s offer of compensation shall not be considered to be involuntarily denied boarding and shall not be entitled to denied boarding compensation.
b. Passenger who is denied boarding involuntarily, subject to the exceptions in Section 27D below, shall be entitled to One Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($1,550).
c. Acceptance of denied boarding compensation relieves Carrier from any further liability caused by its failure to honor the Passenger’s original Confirmed Reservation.
d. Passengers denied boarding involuntarily are not entitled to denied boarding compensation if:
1. The Passenger does not fully comply with this Contract of Carriage regarding ticketing, reconfirmation, check-in, acceptability for transportation;
2. The flight originates in the United Kingdom or a European Community state;
3. The flight for which the Passenger holds a Confirmed Reservation is unable to accommodate that Passenger because of substitution of equipment of lesser capacity when required by operational or safety reasons;
4. The Passenger is offered accommodations or is seated in a section of the aircraft other than that specified on the ticket at no extra charge, except that a Passenger seated in a section for which a lower fare is charged shall be entitled to an appropriate refund;
5. Carrier arranges alternate transportation, or other transportation used by the Passenger at no extra cost to the Passenger, that at the time such arrangements are made is planned to arrive at the airport of the Passenger’s next Stopover or, if none, at the airport of the final destination not later than one (1) hour after the pla...
Denied Boarding Compensation. Employees are not entitled to payment offered for involuntarily denied boarding. Employees may retain compensation received for voluntarily vacating an airline seat provided the employee incurs no additional travel expenses beyond those which they would have normally incurred and vacating their seat does not interfere with the performance of official duties. To the extent an employee's travel is delayed during official duty hours by voluntarily vacating an airline seat, the employee shall be charged annual leave for the additional hours and may not earn travel compensatory time for any additional time in a travel status as a result of the voluntary action.
Denied Boarding Compensation. Airlines occasionally offer free tickets or cash allowances to compensate travelers for delays and inconvenience due to overbooking, flight cancellation, changes of equipment, etc. Travelers may volunteer for denied boarding compensation only if: • The delay in their trip will not cause an increase in the cost of the trip • The delay in their trip will not result in any interruption or loss of business The traveler is required to contact the designated travel management company during normal hours or through their 24 hour emergency contact number to advise the change to the itinerary. Travelers may keep the free travel voucher.
Denied Boarding Compensation. Upon request Tradewind will advise a customer if his/her flight is overbooked. When Tradewind determines that there are not enough available seats on a flight to accommodate all customers holding confirmed reservations and tickets, Tradewind will take the actions specified below regarding voluntary and/or involuntary denied boarding.
A. Voluntary
1. Request for Volunteers: Tradewind will request customers to relinquish their seats voluntarily in exchange for compensation in the form of a travel credit as determined by Tradewind The request for, and selection of, volunteers will be in a manner determined solely by Tradewind Because the selection of volunteers is based on a variety of factors, and because we may have more volunteers than we need, some volunteers may not be selected.
Denied Boarding Compensation. Airlines occasionally offer free tickets or cash allowances to compensate individuals for delays or inconveniences due to overbooking, flight cancellations, or changes of equipment. University Employees must not volunteer for denied boarding compensation when on Roche business and on Roche time.
Denied Boarding Compensation will only be given for involuntary denied boardings. Passengers should not voluntarily offer their seats for compensation.

Denied Boarding Compensation. 1. If Alaska is unable to provide previously confirmed space due to more Passengers holding confirmed reservations and Tickets than there are available seats on a flight, some Passengers may be denied boarding on Alaska’s flights and may be entitled to compensation. This Rule explains Alaska’s obligations and the Passenger's rights in the case of an Oversold Flight in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (“DOT”). Alaska will take the actions specified in the provisions of this Rule.
Denied Boarding Compensation. Hawaiian shall be primarily liable for denied boarding compensation based on an overbooking situation. Charterer shall reimburse Hawaiian its actual out-of-pocket costs of all such documented denied boarding compensation within ten (10) days of submission of such invoice. Hawaiian shall provide Charterer with rates out of its West Coast gateways for the purpose of accommodation of any denied boarding situations. Such rates are incorporated into this Agreement as Attachment B.
