Departmental Committees i. A promotion committee shall be established at the department level by the Chair, in consultation with the department’s faculty and the college Xxxx.
Departmental Committees. 1. Faculty Evaluation Committee Each department shall establish a Standing Committee for faculty evaluation. The Department Chairperson shall be the non-voting Chairperson of the Faculty Evaluation Committee. This committee shall be responsible for annual faculty evaluations, recommendations on contract renewals and recommendations on promotions. The Faculty Evaluation Committee shall report its recommendations in writing to the Department Chairperson.
Departmental Committees. Faculty member participation on Department or Inter-Departmental committee consisting of only faculty may continue according to practices established by the department or departments.
