Educational Secretaries. All persons in this group presently receiving longevity shall continue to receive longevity at the 1988-1989 dollar amount until they move into a new longevity step. Secretaries qualifying for longevity payments and secretaries moving to a new longevity step shall receive longevity payments based on the following schedule: 5 years thru 9 years 10 years thru14 years 15 years plus 20 years plus Longevity will be paid on a pro-rated basis calculated on the number of hours and days worked. Longevity payments shall be made the first pay period after July 1st of the school year in which the payment is due.

Educational Secretaries. All employees in this group shall be entitled to the following holidays with pay if the holiday is celebrated within the defined work year, and if it is officially celebrated on a Monday through Friday. The day before Thanksgiving will be considered as a half day; however, secretarial coverage will be required in buildings housing students and at the Administration building until one-half hour after the students have been dismissed. Scheduling of the secretarial time will be the responsibility of the building Principal and/or Superintendent. Any holiday which falls on a Saturday or Sunday shall be scheduled by the Employer consistent with the district calendar.

  • Secretaries The regular work year for secretaries will range from 200 days to 220 days exclusive of holidays, and each secretary will be assigned to one of the following work schedules. Distinction between Administrative Secretary and Office Secretary is used to determine length of work year.

  • Assistant Secretaries Except as may be otherwise provided in this Agreement, Assistant Secretaries, if there are any, shall perform such duties and have such powers as from time to time may be assigned to them by the Member, the President, any Vice President, if there are any appointed, or the Secretary, and in the absence of the Secretary or in the event of his disability or refusal to act, shall perform the duties of the Secretary, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the Secretary.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretaries The secretary shall record all proceedings of the shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the secretary from any meeting of shareholders or Trustees, an assistant secretary, or if there be none or he or she is absent, a temporary clerk chosen at the meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books.

  • Chairman and Secretary The Local Union shall select the Union representatives and the Chapter shall select the management representatives.

  • Vice Presidents The Vice Presidents will, subject to the control of the Member, perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the President and will have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of vice president of corporations, and will have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Member. In the case of the death, disability or absence of the President, a Vice President shall perform and be vested with all the duties and powers of the President until the Member appoints a new President.

  • Assistant Treasurers and Assistant Secretaries The assistant treasurers and assistant secretaries shall perform such duties as shall be assigned to them by the treasurer or the secretary, respectively, or by the chairman and chief executive officer, the president or the Management Committee.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Vice Presidents, if any, shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

Any vice president shall have such duties and powers as shall be designated from time to time by the Trustees.

  • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.
