Longevity Step. A. The longevity salary increment will be implemented upon completion of 15, 20, and 25 years of service with the District as of the latest anniversary date of hire as a regular employee. Only years worked for the District are to be counted in determining eligibility for longevity.
B. An employee must complete 120 days of service for the District in a twelve month period between anniversary dates to receive one (1) year of credit. A person employed for four (4) hours or less per day shall receive one (1) year of credit for two (2) years of service for longevity purposes.
Longevity Step. Effective January 1, 1998, a ‘Longevity Step’ will be added to the salary schedule. A regular monthly classified employee covered by this Agreement shall be eligible for advancement to ‘Longevity Step’ of the salary schedule upon completion of ten (10) years of continuous service with the District as a regular classified monthly employee with three (3) years of continuous service at Step ‘F’ of their current classification. The employee may apply for advancement as early as the first of the month preceding completion of the required service. Advancement will be effective on the first of the month following application and completion of required service.
Longevity Step. 6.01.2.1 The Board shall, when each teacher commences their twentieth (20th) year of service, add seven hundred dollars ($700.00) to the salary of that teacher.
6.01.2.2 The Board shall, when each teacher commences their twenty-fifth (25th) year of service, add an additional three hundred dollars ($300.00) to the longevity for a total of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).
6.01.2.3 The Board shall, when each teacher commences their 27th year of service, add an additional five hundred dollars ($500.00) to the longevity for a total of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00).
6.01.2.4 The Board shall, when each teacher commences their 30th year of service, add an additional five hundred dollars ($500.00) to the longevity for a total of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00).
Longevity Step. 6.01.2.1 The Chardon Board of Education shall, when each teacher commences their twentieth (20th) year of service, add seven hundred dollars ($700.00) to the salary of that teacher. Further, this provision shall cover all teachers currently employed by the Chardon Board of Education with twenty (20) or more years of service.
6.01.2.2 The Chardon Board of Education shall, when each teacher commences their twenty-fifth (25th) year of service, add an additional three hundred dollars ($300.00) to the longevity for a total of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Further, this provision shall cover all teachers currently employed by the Chardon Board of Education with twenty-five (25) or more years of service.
6.01.2.3 The Chardon Board of Education shall, when each teacher commences their 27th year of service, add an additional five hundred dollars ($500.00) to the longevity for a total of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00). Further, this provision shall cover all teachers currently employed by the Chardon Board of Education with twenty-seven (27) or more years of service.
Longevity Step. Effective the first full pay period following adoption of this Agreement by the City Council, employees shall be eligible for a 5% longevity step upon completion of 10 years of continuous service with the City. This step shall be a 5% increase in pay.
Longevity Step. A. Faculty who have remained for one (1) year in lane ten (X), on step 20 of the salary schedule, shall receive an annual $1,500.00 employer contribution to their 403(b) or 457(b) or receive the same payment subject to federal and state taxes.
B. Faculty who have remained for one (1) year in lanes one (I) through ten (X) in the final step of their designated lane on the salary schedule, shall receive an annual $1,000.00 employer contribution to their 403(b) or 457(b), or receive the same payment subject to federal and state taxes. Human resources will notify employees of their options annually. If an election is not made prior to the scheduled date on the notice, the employer contribution will default to the payment, subject to federal and state taxes.
Longevity Step. Classified employees and instructional assistants on Step H of the salary schedules identified as Exhibits XX-00, XX-00X, XX-00X and CS-12C and with twenty-three (23) or more years of paid employment shall receive an additional 3% of the Step H hourly rate for all salary purposes defined in this Agreement.
Longevity Step a. A longevity step at seventeen (17) years shall be added to Salary Table A providing for a one-time additional increment to those teachers having complete sixteen (16) years of service on the salary schedule, and thereafter, and having attained the seventeenth (17th) step, the said teachers shall be subject to any further general wage increases negotiated between the parties.
b. A longevity step at twenty (20) years shall be added to Salary Table A providing for a one-time additional increment to those teachers having complete nineteen (19) years of service on the salary schedule, and thereafter, and having attained the twentieth (20th) step, the said teachers shall be subject to any further general wage increases negotiated between the parties.
c. A longevity step at twenty-four (24) years shall be added to Salary Table A providing for a one-time additional increment to those teachers having completed twenty-three (23) years of service on the salary schedule, and thereafter, and having attained the twenty-fourth (24th) step, the said teachers shall be subject to any further general wage increases negotiated between the parties.
d. A longevity step at twenty-eight (28) years shall be added to Salary Table A providing for a one-time additional increment to those teachers having completed twenty-seven (27) years of service on the salary schedule, and thereafter, and having attained the twenty-eighth (28th) step, the said teachers shall be subject to any further general wage increases negotiated between the parties.
Longevity Step. After funding all other continuing costs as defined in Appendix A, including a minimum of continuing salary schedule improvements for all unit members equal to the state funded COLA, any remaining funds will be used to implement a one percent (1%) longevity increment for unit members who achieve or have achieved twenty-five (25) years of service or more. If the remaining funds are not sufficient to fully fund the increment, the funds will be set aside and combined with any residual funds as defined above in the year(s) following until such time as sufficient funds are available for implementation. The increment will be effective in the year that the total amount needed is available and will be retroactive to either July 1 or the date the employee achieves the increment. The set aside funds will be distributed as one-time only until implementation occurs.
