EIGHT HOUR ROTATING SHIFT. The standard work week of those activities requiring a twenty-four (24) hour per day, seven (7) day per week operation shall be eight (8) hours for any twenty-four (24) hour period and that normally result in forty (40) hours per work week or at least 80 hour equivalent pay bi-weekly. Days and shifts of work shall be scheduled consecutively without alteration during the shift or work week. The Employer may alter a shift for the purpose of staffing, if a shift is demonstrated by the Employer to be understaffed to the point that additional personnel are required to work the shift to avoid suspension of production. Overtime compensation at time and one-half (1½) shall be paid for all hours worked excess of regular shift hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period unless the employee has leave without pay during the work week or in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week for which overtime compensation has not previously been paid. Employees working in excess of sixteen (16) hours in any one work day shall be compensated overtime at double (2) time for the hours worked in excess of sixteen (16).

  • Rotating Shifts Nurses required to work rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights) shall be scheduled in such a way as to equitably as possible assign the rotation. This does not preclude a Nurse from being continuously assigned to an evening or night shift if the Nurse and the Employer mutually agree to such an arrangement.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Twelve Hour Shifts Employees shall be entitled, subject to exigencies of patient care and/or departmental requirements, to rest periods during the shift of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.

  • Hour Shift An eight (8) hour tour shall be inclusive of an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour meal period, and two fifteen (15) minute paid relief periods.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Fixed Kilowatt-Hour Rate Product If Clearview Energy would like to propose a change to a fixed kilowatt-hour rate product, you will be notified by the process described in Change of Terms. Fixed price products may change due to new or modified federal, state or local laws; or regulatory actions that impose new or modified fees. 2b. Month-to-month Variable Kilowatt-Hour Rate Product – Month-to-month variable kilowatt-hour rate products are subject to change without notice at Clearview Energy’s discretion outside of any applicable promotion. If applicable, the Monthly Base Charge may also fluctuate outside of any applicable promotion. After the first month, the price may vary based on a number of factors, including market supply prices, energy capacity prices, settlement costs and other market- related factors, as determined at our discretion, plus estimated total state taxes, fees, charges or other assessments, along with our costs, expenses and profit margins.   • Evening Shift The evening shift shall include all scheduled shifts where the majority of hours occur after 2:00 p.m.

  • Night Shift Employees who regularly work a full shift of eight (8) hours or more on night shift as defined in Section 12.6.1 (Types of Shifts), which includes four (4) hours or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid their regular salary plus ten percent (10%) of their monthly salary per month, provided that in the case of any employee who is regularly assigned to night-shift work for less than an entire work week, the additional payment shall be made only for the portion of the work week worked on the night-shift assignment.

  • Evening Shift Differential A shift premium of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour shall be paid:
