Electrical Power Required. Use of the Service requires electrical power to operate. You are responsible for providing the electrical power necessary for the Service to function. The Service (including 911 dialing) will not be available for use during a power outage without a back-up power source. An optional battery back-up feature is available for your equipment. The battery back-up feature will not power cordless phones, Internet or TV service, or alarm system equipment. A power failure or service disruption may require you to reset or reconfigure equipment prior to using the Service. Cordless phones and telecommunications devices used to assist customers with disabilities may also require a power supply to function. You acknowledge and understand that to conserve battery power during a power outage, you should not attempt to use the backup batteries for any purpose other than to power the Service (or to power your Internet connection, for the purpose of powering your security alarm, if you have an IP-based security alarm that uses Frontier Internet service). You are solely responsible for determining when the battery backup unit requires replacement and for replacing and recycling used batteries in accordance with manufacturer or other directions. Service Functionality. 911 access will not function if the Service is not configured correctly or if the Service is interrupted or not functioning for any reason, including, but not limited to, in the event of a power outage (unless you have working backup battery power), network outage, or disconnection of the Service because of billing or other issues. If there is a power outage, you may be required to reset or reconfigure the equipment prior to being able to use the Service, including use for 911 calling. The Service may be provided to you over a broadband (Internet Protocol or “IP”) network. If there is a broadband network outage, the Service will not function and you will not be able to make 911 calls. Service functionality requires a regular analog touchtone landline telephone, which you must supply and which must be connected to the Frontier network. You agree that neither you nor a third party will move any equipment used for the Service within your premises to any other physical location outside of the premises where it was installed by Frontier. The Service is not designed to be nomadic and will not function properly if the network interface connection is moved or altered by anyone who is not a Frontier employee.

Electrical Power Required. IF THERE IS A POWER OR INTERNET OUTAGE OR INTERRUPTION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE VOIP SERVICE FOR ANY 911 OR OTHER CALLS (AFTER SUCH AN EVENT, YOU ALSO MAY NEED TO RESET OR RECONFIGURE THE EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU CAN USE THE SERVICE). We offer You the option to purchase a backup power solution for Your VOIP service that will enable You to make a 911 call during a power outage for a limited amount of time. You are responsible for making Your own decision about whether or how to supply backup power for Your VOIP service. Upon receipt of Your request, We will provide an estimate of the cost to provide You with a backup power solution, in the form of a backup battery, that is rated when new and fully charged to provide 24 hours of backup power for Your VOIP device and the Provider Equipment at Your location. The battery is intended to enable users to make short, emergency or other urgent telephone calls. During an extended outage, use Your VOIP service sparingly to preserve Your battery life. The actual length of time that Your VOIP service will be available during a power outage depends on many variables, including, but not limited to: (i) talk time; (ii) whether the battery had an opportunity to fully recharge after a prior outage; (iii) the condition and age of the battery; and (iv) prior usage of the battery. Cordless telephones require power and will not operate during a power outage even if You have purchased a backup power solution from Us. If You purchase a backup battery or other backup power source, We recommend that You maintain at least one corded telephone to use during power outages. Once purchased, the backup power solution will be Your property and You will be responsible for the operation and servicing of the backup power solution; We will not service, or otherwise be responsible for, the backup power solution. Batteries lose capacity with age and can be replaced when performance degrades. The proper usage and storage conditions, as well as self- testing and self-monitoring instructions, will depend on the specifics of the backup power solution We develop for You and will be provided to You upon delivery of the backup power solution.   • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Landlord shall furnish to the Premises heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (“HVAC”) in accordance with the Design Standards set forth in Exhibit E during Ordinary Business Hours. Landlord shall have access to all air-cooling, fan, ventilating and machine rooms and electrical closets and all other mechanical installations of Landlord (collectively, “Mechanical Installations”), and Tenant shall not construct partitions or other obstructions which may interfere with Landlord’s access thereto or the moving of Landlord’s equipment to and from the Mechanical Installations. No Tenant Party shall at any time enter the Mechanical Installations or tamper with, adjust, or otherwise affect such Mechanical Installations. Landlord shall not be responsible if the HVAC System fails to provide cooled or heated air, as the case may be, to the Premises in accordance with the Design Standards by reason of (i) any equipment installed by, for or on behalf of Tenant, which has an electrical load in excess of the average electrical load and human occupancy factors for the HVAC System as designed, or (ii) any rearrangement of partitioning or other Alterations made or performed by, for or on behalf of Tenant. Tenant shall install, if missing, blinds or shades on all windows, which blinds and shades shall be subject to Landlord’s approval, and shall keep all of the operable windows in the Premises closed, and lower the blinds when necessary because of the sun’s position, whenever the HVAC System is in operation or as and when required by any Requirement. Tenant shall cooperate with Landlord and shall abide by the rules and regulations which Landlord may reasonably prescribe for the proper functioning and protection of the HVAC System.

Also provide illuminance computer printout for all indoor typical indoor spaces and parking lots. .2 Convenience outlets and circuiting, special outlets and circuiting, television outlets, and power systems and equipment. Provide riser diagrams for all electrical systems including master clock, intercom, fire alarm, ITV, computer networking/telephone. Also, provide for emergency and normal power distribution. Provide luminaire schedule. .3 Panel schedule may be in preliminary form but circuitry must be included. .4 Applicable installation details. .5 General legend and list of abbreviations. .6 Voltage drop computation for all main feeders. .7 Short circuit analysis .8 Provide 1/2" scale floor plan and wall elevations for all electrical rooms.

  • Quality control system (i) The Contractor shall establish a quality control mechanism to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Agreement (the “Quality Assurance Plan” or “QAP”). (ii) The Contractor shall, within 30 (thirty) days of the Appointed Date, submit to the Authority’s Engineer its Quality Assurance Plan which shall include the following: (a) organisation, duties and responsibilities, procedures, inspections and documentation; (b) quality control mechanism including sampling and testing of Materials, test frequencies, standards, acceptance criteria, testing facilities, reporting, recording and interpretation of test results, approvals, check list for site activities, and proforma for testing and calibration in accordance with the Specifications for Road and Bridge Works issued by MORTH, relevant IRC specifications and Good Industry Practice; and (c) internal quality audit system. The Authority’s Engineer shall convey its approval to the Contractor within a period of 21 (twenty-one) days of receipt of the QAP stating the modifications, if any, required, and the Contractor shall incorporate those in the QAP to the extent required for conforming with the provisions of this Clause 11.2. (iii) The Contractor shall procure all documents, apparatus and instruments, fuel, consumables, water, electricity, labour, Materials, samples, and qualified personnel as are necessary for examining and testing the Project Assets and workmanship in accordance with the Quality Assurance Plan. (iv) The cost of testing of Construction, Materials and workmanship under this Article 11 shall be borne by the Contractor.

  • Generator Subject to the provisions of this Section 29.36, Tenant shall be entitled to install, operate and maintain a generator and any other equipment related thereto, including, without limitation, a fuel system, wiring and shaft space (“Generator”) next to the Building at Tenant’s sole cost and expense (without paying any additional fee or rental to Landlord for the use thereof). Prior to the installation of the Generator, Tenant shall inspect the proposed location to determine a suitable location for the Generator, and Tenant shall submit written plans and specifications relative to the type, size and proposed location (including any proposed screening) of the Generator to Landlord for its review and written approval. Tenant shall be solely responsible for the cost of acquisition, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Generator; and Tenant shall install, maintain and operate the Generator in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws, statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations, including without limitation, obtaining and maintaining any and all permits, approvals and licenses required to install and operate the Generator by any governmental authority having jurisdiction. Landlord and Tenant agree that, upon the expiration of earlier termination of the Lease Term, Tenant shall not be required to remove the Generator, any associated cabling, wiring and screening or other improvements. Tenant shall not be entitled to grant or assign to any third party (other than a permitted assignee of Tenant’s rights under the Lease or a permitted subtenant relative to the Premises (or a portion thereof)) the right to use the Generator without Landlord’s prior written consent (which consent may be granted or withheld in Landlord’s discretion). Upon reasonable advance notice to Tenant (and provided Landlord reasonably coordinates with Tenant and provides an alternate source of backup generator capacity during said transition), Landlord shall be entitled to cause the Generator to be moved to another location near the Building, at Landlord’s cost and expense. Tenant shall pay all personal property taxes on the Generator. Tenant shall also pay any increases in the real property taxes of the Building due to the installation of the Generator within thirty (30) days of receipt of notice from Landlord which includes proof of such increase in taxes. Tenant’s indemnity obligations under Section 5.4.1.5 of the Lease, relating to the use of Hazardous Materials, shall apply to the use and operation of the Generator. Finally, Tenant’s insurance obligations under Section 10.3 of the Lease shall apply to the Generator.
