Emergency Operations Center. Each Hospital will maintain an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during the disaster and it will act as a communication coordination and information center that is available to facilitate the transfer or support of hospital resources. The Hospital EOC will communicate with local and county EMA and the Southern Maine Regional Resource Center (SMRRC), typically through and HICS position called the Liaison Officer. This Liaison position is a hospital staffer that works at the hospital EOC or is deployed to an outside EOC in the community. In addition there may be outside Liaisons (from other organizations) at the Hospital’s EOC.

Emergency Operations Center a. The route from the main area of the room to the presenter area is inaccessible because there is a 7 inch step leading to the presenter area. Provide at least one accessible route within the boundary of the site connecting these elements that, to the maximum extent feasible, coincides with the route for the general public. The accessible route must have a minimum clear width of 36 inches, or a minimum clear width of 42 inches if there is a turn around an obstruction less than 48 inches wide; have a surface that is firm, stable, and slip resistant; have, in the absence of a ramp, or platform lift, no level changes in excess of 1/2 inch vertically; and have a running slope of less than 1:20 (5%) (or have been constructed as a fully accessible ramp) and a cross slope of less than 1:50 (2%). Emergency Operations Center. When requested, Allina will provide a representative to the City’s Emergency Operations Center within two hours of the request. Remote representation maybe permissible and is to be determined by the City.
Emergency Operations Center. 12.1 Each agency agrees to extend the reciprocal use of their Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) as a back-up site. The use of the EOC is to be provided during any activation period, as determined by the Chiefs of Police or designee. City will not charge rent for use of the EOC to the County, but this will not preclude the City from requiring another Allied Agency to pay a share of the costs and a reasonable rental in the future. 4.01.02. The City agrees to give ownership of the SAF Radio pair currently connected between the tower near City Hall and the Detention Center and the Fire Station 3 (FS3) tower to the County to be used to connect the EOC with the rest of the County network. The City agrees to provide space on the FS3 tower as needed to adjust, replace, or upgrade the radios in the future. 4.01.05. The City agrees to allow the County to bring in services as needed such as fiber optic, phone, TV, etc.
