Common use of Employee Orientations Clause in Contracts

Employee Orientations. At employee orientations, the District shallprovide the Association with no less than thirty (30) minutes to make a presentation to all bargaining unit employees without undue interference. The Association shall also be permitted to set up a table at the orientation to meet directly with employees before, after, and during breaks at the orientation. No employee shall suffer a loss in compensation or benefits as a result of participating in or attending the Association’s presentation.

The Association shall also be permitted to set up a table at the orientation to meet directly with employees before, after, and during breaks at the orientation. No employee shall suffer a loss in compensation or benefits as a result of participating in or attending the Association’s presentation. If the Association is allowed to meet with new employees during an employee orientation, then this will satisfy the Association’s right to meet individually with each of those new employees.
