Orientations. The District shall provide a New Employee Orientation to all employees. The District shall provide employees in SEIU 925 represented positions a copy of this agreement. Leaders and/or union staff shall have 30 minutes during the orientation to present information about the Union to new employees, answer questions, and enroll them in the Union, if the employee so desires. The Union’s field organizer, designated employee leaders, and the Union’s Member Resource Center shall receive a written, electronic schedule of the date, time, and place of orientations. A list of the newly hired SEIU represented employees will be sent the Friday prior to the orientation they have signed up for.
Orientations. The District shall notify CWA at least two days prior to any Supervisory/Professional group employee orientations that are held and CWA will be allowed time after the orientation to provide union information. If no group orientation is conducted, TUSD will provide the newly hired employee with CWA’s contact information. TUSD will provide CWA with the newly hired employee’s information including job title, worksite and home address. CWA will have the opportunity to meet for a duration of 30 minutes with each new eligible member within one week upon the employee reporting to their worksite, at the employee’s discretion with the supervisor’s approval of scheduled meeting time. The District shall provide CWA with a list of current eligible employees in alpha order by site/department, including classification, worksite, grade, step, bargaining unit seniority date and number of hours worked, on a quarterly basis. CWA will provide sufficient copies of contact information to be distributed to new hires to this bargaining unit during their orientation or hiring process.
Orientations. The Employer shall distribute to each new employee at his/her initial orientation a check off authorization and membership card, a New Member Brochure and Packet. At their orientation, new employees will also be provided with the names and phone numbers of Shop Stewards. The Employer will collect signed Union authorization and membership cards at the initial orientation for those employees who sign the cards then.
Orientations. OLFMs who have been asked to substitute in a course they have never delivered before, or who are delivering a course that has undergone more than fifty percent (50%) revision since the substituting OLFM last taught it, and who in the opinion of the University require an orientation period, will receive an appropriate orientation period as established by the University. Orientation will be paid for at the Computer Course rate as per Appendix A. OLFMs employed as of December 8th 2006, who deliver a Print Course that is converted to Standard Web, and are assigned to this Standard Web Course, are expected to attend an orientation session; the University may at its discretion waive this session. OLFMs will be compensated for their time in attendance at the orientation session at the Computer Course Rate in Appendix A (Wage Schedule) and travel expenses as per TRU Policy ADM 19-0 Expenses: Travel.
Orientations. In the event the District conducts one-on-one or 21 group orientations with new employees, CSEA shall have a 22 minimum of thirty (30) minutes for one-on-one orientations and 23 one (1) hour for a group orientation to conduct the orientation 24 session. A CSEA Labor Relations Representative may attend the 25 orientation sessions.
Orientations. Sixty (60) days prior to the start of each academic year, the University will provide the Union with the names and umich emails of contact persons responsible for scheduling each appointing unit’s first new Employee training session or its first meeting including new employees. Each semester, upon request of the Union, each appointing unit will make forty-five (45) minutes available to the Union. The units should endeavor to schedule this forty-five (45) minutes during a break in the first new employee training session or its first meeting. If the unit is unable to accommodate scheduling during a break, then the union would have the ability to decide whether it is scheduled before or immediately after the meeting. The union’s orientation will not be required to start before 8 am or after 7:30 pm. Written notification of the Union presentation shall be included on the agenda of the department training or meeting. The agenda, along with names of GSIs/GSSAs and University emails of expected participants, shall be shared with the Union at least two business days prior to the meeting, conditional upon timely request by the Union. The union presentation will be scheduled in the same room, if possible, or with directions to the new room in the same building. The new room shall have adequate capacity to accommodate all Employees present at the Employee training session or first meeting of new Employees. For appointing units that use an asynchronous, remote training module, including the asynchronous CRLT module, for their orientations, they will provide the Union, upon request, a list of names of new GSIs/GSSA in their unit. The Union can schedule up to two (2) orientations per appointing unit with the new Employees in these units. The dates and times of these
Orientations. The creation of a New Teacher Orientation shall be instituted as a mandatory annual event for all teachers new to the District. The Union shall receive written notice of any District orientation meeting for incoming teachers and shall be advised of the schedule of activities at least seven (7) days in advance of such meeting. The Union shall have the exclusive right to participate in the New Teacher Orientation, or similar summer in-service program, which may replace by name the New Teacher Orientation. The Union shall have the right to set up a display table, distribute materials and engage in organizational activities, which are non-disruptive of the orientation program. The Union shall have the opportunity to meet separately with new teachers.
Orientations. Each institution will provide an orientation to students participating the exchange program. The orientation program will include, but is not limited to, information on the Host institution’s policies on academic responsibilities and standards of conduct, local customs and standards of behavior, support services available to the student, and student safety and health, including any known, abnormally dangerous conditions on the premises or in the city or country, such as the threat of crime, civil unrest, disease or terrorism.
Orientations. AAWW will create an onboarding process to welcome new staff at the start of their employment. AAWW will allow for the Union to meet with new unit members for up to one (1) hour of time during this onboarding process
Orientations. During the annual Timing and Testing Sessions of the Scouting Combines, the NFL will use best efforts to ensure that the NFLPA will be permitted to present one-hour orientations for all of the col- lege players attending the session. The orientation will include only infor- mation on the Career Planning Program, the Chemical Dependency Pro- gram, the NFLPA Agent Certification System, and other information con- tained in this Agreement and will encourage the players to participate fully in all activities of the Scouting Combine. The NFLPA will also have the right to space in the public area of the players’ hotel, staffed by NFLPA employ- ees, to provide information requested by players during their free time at the Combine. The NFLPA and the NFL will also sponsor an orientation with an agreed-upon agenda for all rookies on a Club-by-Club basis during the first half of the NFL regular season, which meetings may take place on the players’ day off if no other mutually acceptable day is agreed upon.
