EMPLOYEE RECLASSIFICATION. In the event that the responsibilities and duties of any given position increase during the time that one individual employee holds that position, but the nature of the work performed within the position remains essentially the same, then that position may be reclassified upward and shall be retained by that same employee. This provision shall not be abused so as to deny a promotional opportunity to an employee with identical or greater qualifications but more seniority. The Union shall be consulted before any such reclassification is put into effect.
EMPLOYEE RECLASSIFICATION. NCC maintains the right to review and re-classify the FTE status of employees based on business needs, a change in the FTE status of the position they occupy or their actual hours worked. NCC shall provide the Union with notice of the reclassification of an employee’s FTE status.

  • JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RECLASSIFICATION 26.01 In order to ensure the appropriate classification of jobs listed under Schedule "A" of the collective agreement, the Parties agree that matters related to the classification of new or existing jobs shall be dealt with in accordance with the Joint Job Evaluation Manual of Procedures forming part of this collective agreement.   • Reclassification Procedure a. A completed Position Description Form and written explanation for a proposed reclassification request shall be submitted to the Agency Personnel Office.
