Employment Abandonment i. Any employee failing to report for work without notifying the Employer within three (3) work days, and who cannot give an acceptable reason for his/her absence, shall be considered as having abandoned his/her position.

Employment Abandonment. If an employee is absent from work for a period of seven (7) days without sufficient cause and fails to notify the Employer and/or communicate with the Employer, the employee will have been considered to have abandoned and resigned from employment with the City.
