Merit Increases (a) Subject to documented assessment and performance review undertaken pursuant to the Performance Management System, an employee on anniversary date may be granted an increase of up to five pay increments in the pay scale, not to exceed the control point maximum. (b) The Employer shall notify the employee in writing when an annual increment(s) is not granted or when an annual increment of less than two (2) increments is granted. Such notice shall contain the Employer’s reason(s) as to why the employee’s work performance was not satisfactory. (c) An employee who has not been granted a merit increase shall have the right to refer their performance evaluation to the Director of Human Resources or designate for review by the Review Committee that has been established in the employing department. The employee shall have the right to make written submission to the Review Committee. (d) At the discretion of the Deputy Head, anniversary date merit increases, or portions thereof may be delayed and granted at a subsequent date, without change to the employee’s anniversary date. (e) Where an employee is not granted a pay increment(s) due to an omission or error, the employee shall be granted the increase on a subsequent date, retroactive to their anniversary date for such increment(s). (f) The number of merit increase pay increments granted for part-time or seasonal employees should be pro-rated or delayed in relation to length or work periods. Merit increase pay increments for part-time employees shall be determined in accordance with Article 33.03. (g) Employees paid at or above the control point maximum of the pay range are ineligible for merit increases. (h) It is understood by the parties that clause 14.11 does not apply to scheduled work planning and review or performance appraisal meetings.
Annual Evaluations The purpose of the annual evaluation is to assess and communicate the nature and extent of an employee's performance of assigned duties consistent with the criteria specified below in this Policy. Except for those employees who have received notice of non-reappointment pursuant to the BOT- UFF Policy on Non- reappointment, every employee shall be evaluated at least once annually. Personnel decisions shall take such annual evaluations into account, provided that such decisions need not be based solely on written faculty performance evaluations.
Benefit Increases Benefit payments may be increased as provided in Section 2.1.3.
EVALUATION AND COMPARISON OF BIDS 29.1 The Employer will evaluate and compare only the Bids determined to be substantially responsive in accordance with Clause 26. 29.2 In evaluating the Bids, the Employer will determine for each Bid the evaluated Bid Price by adjusting the Bid Price as follows: (a) Making any correction for errors pursuant to Clause 27; or (b) Making an appropriate adjustments for any other acceptable variations, deviations; and (c) Making appropriate adjustments to reflect discounts or other price modifications offered in accordance with Sub Clause 22.5. 29.3 The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any variation, deviation, or alternative offer. Variations, deviations, and alternative offers and other factors which are in excess of the requirements of the Bidding documents or otherwise result in unsolicited benefits for the Employer shall not be taken into account in Bid evaluation. 29.4 The estimated effect of the price adjustment conditions under Clause 47 of the Conditions of Contract, during the period of implementation of the Contract, will not be taken into account in Bid evaluation. 29.5 If the Bid of the successful Bidder is seriously unbalanced in relation to the Engineer’s estimate of the cost of work to be performed under the contract, the Employer may require the Bidder to produce detailed price analyses for any or all items of the Bill of Quantities, to demonstrate the internal consistency of those prices with the construction methods and schedule proposed. After evaluation of the price analyses, the Employer may require that the amount of the performance security set forth in Clause 34 be increased at the expense of the successful Bidder to a level sufficient to protect the Employer against financial loss in the event of default of the successful Bidder under the Contract. 30. MANAGEMENT OF EVALUATION OUTCOMES 12.1 Where the Employer is, any time during the Employee’s employment, not satisfied with the Employee’s performance with respect to any matter dealt with in this Agreement, the Employer will give notice to the Employee to attend a meeting; 12.2 The Employee will have the opportunity at the meeting to satisfy the Employer of the measures being taken to ensure that his performance becomes satisfactory and any programme, including any dates, for implementing these measures; 12.3 Where there is a dispute or difference as to the performance of the Employee under this Agreement, the Parties will confer with a view to resolving the dispute or difference; and 12.4 In the case of unacceptable performance, the Employer shall – 12.4.1 Provide systematic remedial or developmental support to assist the Employee to improve his performance; and 12.4.2 After appropriate performance counselling and having provided the necessary guidance and/or support as well as reasonable time for improvement in performance, the Employer may consider steps to terminate the contract of employment of the Employee on grounds of unfitness or incapacity to carry out his or her duties.
Service Changes PBI may modify its Service by giving written notice to you (a “Service Change Notice”), which will state whether the change is material. After receiving a Service Change Notice, if the change is material, you may terminate Service by giving us a termination notice at the address indicated in Section 21 or you may create a case at xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xx/xxxxxxx-xx.xxxx (follow the instructions under “how to create a case”).
Promotion Increases (a) Promotion salary increases shall be granted in an amount equal to 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary rate in recognition of promotion to one of the ranks described below: (1). To Associate in , and Assistant University Librarian; (2). To Associate Professor, Associate Scholar/Scientist/Engineer, and Associate University Librarian; and
Annual Evaluation The Partnership will be evaluated on an annual basis through the use of the Strategic Partnership Annual Evaluation Format as specified in Appendix C of OSHA Instruction CSP 00-00-000, OSHA Strategic Partnership Program for Worker Safety and Health. The Choate Team will be responsible for gathering required participant data to evaluate and track the overall results and success of the Partnership. This data will be shared with OSHA. OSHA will be responsible for writing and submitting the annual evaluation.
PROMOTIONS AND STAFF CHANGES 11.01 Job Postings a) When a vacancy occurs or a new position is created for a regular position which the Employer has decided to fill it shall be posted on all bulletin boards for five (5) working days and filled within forty (40) working days of the posting closing. Positions may be advertised in the media only after the Employer has determined an internal applicant is not the successful applicant. Where the Employer decides not to fill a vacant position, the Employer will provide an explanation to the Union if so requested. b) The Employer, on a temporary basis, may fill a posted position during the posting and selection period. c) For temporary positions of up to forty-two (42) days, a posting is not required. Positions of longer than forty-two (42) days (seventy-eight (78) days only in the case of temporary aquatic program positions) shall be posted except where the vacancy is created by the absence of an Employee due to vacation. d) If a temporary position is made into a regular position, the new regular position shall be posted at least 14 days prior to the end of the temporary position. (i) A posting shall include the following information: Nature of position, qualifications, skills, required knowledge and education, current shift hours and days, number of hours of work per week, and wage rate. (ii) Such qualifications may not be established in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner, and shall reflect the contents of the Job Description. 11.02 Role of Seniority in Appointments, Promotions, Demotions and Transfers a) Both parties recognize the principle of promotion within the service of the Employer in the bargaining unit (i) For classifications required by their job description to supervise other employees in the bargaining unit listed in XXX#4, appointments, promotions, demotions, and transfers shall be based on the ability, knowledge, qualifications and seniority of the Regular Employees considered. Where the ability, qualifications and knowledge of the applicants are relatively equal, the senior applicant will be the successful candidate. (ii) For all other classifications, where the ability, qualifications and knowledge are sufficient to perform the functions of the posted position, the senior applicant shall be appointed. c) If the position is not filled by a Regular Employee in (i) or (ii) above, the ability and qualifications of Casual, Temporary and Seasonal Employees shall be considered, and if relatively equal, the senior applicant as determined in Article 10.05 shall be appointed. d) If the position is not filled by an Employee in b (i), (ii), or c) above, all other applicants shall be considered.
FINANCIAL EVALUATION (a) The financial bid shall be opened of only those bidders who have been found to be technically eligible. The financial bids shall be opened in presence of representatives of technically eligible bidders, who may like to be present. The institute shall inform the date, place and time for opening of financial bid. (b) Arithmetical errors shall be rectified on the following basis. If there is a discrepancy between the unit price and total price that is, the unit price shall prevail and the total price shall be corrected by the Institute. If there is a discrepancy between words and figures, the lesser amount shall be considered as valid. If the Supplier does not accept the correction of the errors, his bid shall be rejected. (c) The AIIMS Jodhpur does not bind himself to accept the lowest bid or any bid and reserves the right of accepting the whole or any part of the bid or portion of the job offered; and the bidder shall provide the same at the rates quoted. The AIIMS Jodhpur reserves the right to reject any or all offers received in response to tender or cancel or withdraw the tender notice without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
