Executive Staff i. The Board will directly supervise, appoint, and be responsible for removing the Fire Chief/CEO of the Authority. The Board will negotiate, approve, and execute a written employment agreement with the Fire Chief/CEO setting forth the terms and conditions of employment.

Executive Staff. 1) The Board will directly supervise, appoint, and be responsible for removing, if necessary, the Chief of Police/CEO of the UPD. The Board will negotiate, approve, and execute a written employment agreement with the Chief of Police/CEO setting forth the terms and conditions of employment.
Executive Staff. The Executive Staff shall be selected by Operator subjectto approval by Owner. Operator shall deliver the resume of any candidate for an Executive Staff position to Owner for its review, and Owner shall have an opportunity to meet the candidate at the Hotel or another location in the City of San Francisco before making a decision about whether to approve the hiring of the candidate. Owner will endeavor to notify Operator of its opinion of a candidate within five (5) business days after its meeting with the candidate. If Owner does not notify Operator, whether orally or in writing, of its opinion of the candidate within the five (5) business day period, Owner shall be deemed to have approved that candidate. Operator shall hire qualified Executive Staff and cause members of the Executive Staff to commence full-time employment at the Hotel on or before the Effective Date. If any of the Executive Staff shall resign or be terminated or shall be absent from the Hotel for any period in excess of ordinary vacations and leave time, Operator shall replace such Executive Staff with qualified persons approved by Owner as soon as reasonably practicable. Operator acknowledges that Owner is vitally interested in the qualifications of those persons designated as the Executive Staff. Operator shall, from time to time, consult with Owner and consider Owner’s recommendations as to the appointment of individuals to such positions and shall discuss with Owner and give good-faith consideration to any request by Owner during the Term that one or more of the Executive Staff of the Hotel be replaced. However, Operator shall not transfer any Executive Staff employee to other hotels or resorts owned or managed by Operator or any of its Affiliates, unless it first delivers to Owner at least fifteen (15) days advance written notice (which may be delivered by e-mail to gxxxxxxxx@xxx.xxx or another e-mail address provided by Owner to Operator for such purpose) of the transfer, and the transfer is being made to promote the career advancement of the employee or at the employee’s request.
Executive Staff. Except as provided in Clause 35 - Part-Time Employees, the ordinary hours of work shall be 37 1/2 per week, to be worked at such times as may be mutually arranged between the employer and the employee concerned.

All candidates proposed by Manager to fill an Execute Staff position shall, in Manager’s commercially reasonable judgment, have sufficient experience and be fully qualified for the position, taking into account the size, location, quality, marketing strategy, and stature of the Venues and the job description and qualifications established by Manager. In addition, Manager shall provide to Owner and Hotel Operator any pertinent information regarding compensation, years of service and any anticipated or accrued severance obligations (if any) associated with any candidate for an Executive Staff position and Owner and Hotel Operator shall be entitled to consider any such compensation, years of service or accrued severance obligations in granting or withholding their respective approval over the hiring of any candidate for an Executive Staff position. In addition, Manager acknowledges and agrees that Owner and Hotel Operator may propose, as a candidate for an Executive Staff position, any qualified person and Manager shall consider any such candidate in good faith.. Upon Owner and/or Hotel Operator’s good faith, substantively based objection to any such candidate, such candidate shall not be hired, and Manager shall identify and select alternative candidates, and the foregoing procedures shall apply to such alternative candidates. Manager shall not initiate the transfer of any person filling an Executive Staff position (as opposed to any bona fide, independent and unsolicited transfer that is initiated or requested by Owner or such person) to another restaurant owned or managed by Manager or its Affiliates without the prior written approval of Owner (which approval may be granted or withheld in Owner’s sole and ab...

Executive Staff. Owner shall have the right to interview and approve the individuals selected by Manager as the members of the Executive Staff prior to each individual’s respective appointment, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Prior to appointing a member of the Executive Staff, Manager shall provide Owner with a written summary of such individual's professional experience and qualifications and shall offer Owner the opportunity to interview the candidate at the Hotel or another mutually acceptable location. Owner shall forego its right to interview any such individual if Owner or its authorized representative is unwilling or unable to participate in the interview within five business days following Manager's offer. Owner shall be deemed to have approved the appointment of any such individual unless Owner delivers notice of its disapproval of such appointment within ten business days after Manager's offer to Owner to interview the candidate. Owner acknowledges that it may not reject more than three qualified candidates proposed by Manager for any Executive Staff position each time the position is being filled and if Owner disapproves three proposed qualified candidates, Manager may hire any of the three qualified candidates in its sole discretion.

Operator shall have retained qualified Executive Staff and cause members of the Executive Staff to commence full-time employment at the Hotel on or before the Effective Date. In the event that any of the Executive Staff shall resign or be terminated or shall be absent from the Hotel for any period in excess of ordinary vacations and leave time, Operator shall replace such Executive Staff with qualified persons as soon as reasonably practicable. Operator acknowledges that Owner is vitally interested in the qualifications of those persons designated as the Executive Staff. Operator shall, from time to time, consult with Owner as far in advance as reasonably practicable with respect to proposed transfers and/or replacements of the Executive Staff and consider Owner's recommendations as to the appointment of individuals to such positions. Operator shall discuss with Owner and give good-faith consideration to any request by Owner during the Term that one or more of the Executive Staff of the Hotel be replaced.
Executive Staff. The term "Executive Staff" shall mean the Vessel Master, Mate, Chief Engineer, First Assistant, and any other executives of the Vessel as designated by the Manager.
