External WorkThe employer must be notified of all external work. Any external work engaged in by the appointee must not be such as to interfere with the fulfilling of the appointee’s duties and responsibilities to the school. The contract may also be terminated in the event that the teacher’s work, when calculated in the aggregate, exceeds the limit of 48 hours for the previous relevant period as set out in Section 15 of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997. Any such decision to terminate the contract will be taken in accordance with appropriate procedures.
External WorkWhere an employee is called between the hours of 10pm and 6am Monday to Saturday, or on Sundays to solve work related issues, they will be paid for 1 hour at ordinary rates for resolving the issue by telephone. Should it not be resolved by telephone and the employee needs to attend the workplace, this payment will not be made, and instead the 3 hour "call back" will apply.
External Work. The galvanised iron pipes and fittings shall be laid in trenches excavated to true lines and levels. The gradient should be set out by means boning rods and any excess excavation refilled at contractor's expense as directed. The widths and depths of the trenches for different diameters of the pipes shall be given as in the table below and shall be deep enough to have a clear cover of at least 400 mm above the top of pipes. At joints the trench width shall be widened where necessary. The work of excavation and refilling be done true to line and gradient with sand and soft materials (murrum earth) at the bed and on sites water, well rammed and consolidated. The pipes shall be painted with two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint of approved quality. The pipes shall be surrounded with sand, earth or murrum before the trenches are back filled with excavated earth.
External Work. Pipes & fittings shall be laid in trenches. The widths & depths of the trenches for different diameters of the pipes shall be as in the table given below: DIA.OF PIPE WIDTH OF TRENCH DEPTH OF TRENCH 15mm to 50mm 65mm to 100mm 30 cm 45 cm upto upto 60 cm 75 cm 100mm to 150mm 65 cm upto 90 cm At joints the trench width shall be widened wherever necessary. The work of excavation & refilling shall be in the scope of the Contractor and shall be done true to line & gradient. The pipes below ground shall be protected against corrosion by the application of the layer of two coats of anticorrosive paint. The pipes shall be laid on a layer of 10 cm sand & filled upto 10 cm above the pipes. The remaining portion of the trench shall then be filled with excavated earth and properly compacted in layers of 15cm depth. The surplus earth shall be disposed off as directed. In case of bigger diameter (65mm & above) pipes where the pressure is very high, thrust blocks of cement concrete 1:2:4 shall be constructed on all bends to transmit the hydraulic thrust without impairing the ground & spreading it over a sufficient area. Testing the Joints: After jointing, the pipes & the fittings shall be inspected under working conditions of pressure & flow. Any joint found leaking shall be redone & all leaking pipes removed & replaced without extra cost. The pipe & fittings after they are laid shall be tested to a hydraulic pressure of 10 Kg/cm2 (100 meter). The pipes shall be slowly & carefully charged with water allowing all air to escape & avoiding all shocks or water hammer. The draw off taps & stopcocks shall then be closed & specified hydraulic pressure applied gradually. Pressure gauge must be accurate & should be calibrated before the test. The test pump shall be stopped and the test pressure shall be maintained without loss for at least half an hour. The pipes & fitting shall be tested in sections as the work of laying proceeds, keeping the joints exposed for inspection during the testing.
External Work. ‌ A full time employee shall not undertake any paid external work without the prior written approval of their Manager. Management will not withhold any reasonable requests.

External WorkThe rate for external work shall include the cost of labour and materials involved in all the operations described above except in para 1.4. the rate shall include excavation of trenches, paintings of pipes and re-filling all round the pipes.

  • External Hosting Facilities DST shall implement controls, consistent with applicable prevailing industry practices and standards, regarding the collection, use, storage and/or disclosure of Fund Data by an external hosting provider.

  • External Review In the event of a final internal Adverse Benefit Determination, a Claimant may be entitled to an external review of the Claim. This request must be submitted in writing on an External Review Request form within 120 days of receipt of the Adverse Benefit Determination. The external reviewer will render a recommendation within 45 calendar days unless the request meets expedited criteria, in which case it will be resolved in no later than 72 hours. The external reviewer’s recommendation will be binding. The external reviewer will notify the Claimant of its decision in writing, and the Plan will take action as appropriate to comply with such recommendation.   • Internal Controls The Company shall maintain a system of internal accounting controls sufficient to provide reasonable assurances that: (i) transactions are executed in accordance with management’s general or specific authorization; (ii) transactions are recorded as necessary in order to permit preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and to maintain accountability for assets; (iii) access to assets is permitted only in accordance with management’s general or specific authorization; and (iv) the recorded accountability for assets is compared with existing assets at reasonable intervals and appropriate action is taken with respect to any differences.

  • INTERNAL MAIL A.29.1 The Association shall have access to the District’s internal mail delivery service, email system and employee mail boxes, free of charge, for communication to Association members, for the purposes of providing professional, educational, social and Association business. A.29.2 The Association agrees that its use of the District’s email system will be in accordance with all relevant Board policies.
