Faculty Qualification, Selection, Supervision, and Evaluation. The University has established an approval process for selecting and/or approving qualified School District faculty (those approved will herein be called “Dual Credit Faculty”) to teach dual credit course(s). Each approved Dual Credit Faculty will be supervised by the University’s respective department chair or designee and be evaluated and monitored to ensure quality of instruction and compliance with the University’s policies and procedures in accordance with the standards established by the State of Texas and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The School District will collaborate with the University to ensure that the School District instructor applying to teach in the Academic Dual Credit Program meets the credential requirements. ii. The University will ensure that University Faculty requested to teach dual credit courses at the School District sites have met acceptable national criminal background checks. iii. School District faculty approved as Dual Credit Faculty must be cleared by the University’s Office of Human Resources to teach any dual credit courses. iv. Dual Credit Faculty will submit all required reporting documents such as rosters, learning outcome results, syllabi/section outlines, and grades by the deadlines set by the University. v. New Dual Credit Faculty approved for the upcoming Academic Year must satisfactorily complete Canvas LMS and Quality Measures Trainings offered through the University’s Falcon Online Department prior to or during their first semester teaching Academic Dual Credit Program courses. vi. University and UTPB Dual Credit Faculty teaching dual credit courses should check their class rosters during the first week of classes to make sure that all students attending the class are enrolled in the dual credit course. Refer students not on the roster to the appropriate School District counselor and the Dual Credit Department. Any student not listed on the roster by the 12th day of class (Census Day) will not be enrolled in the dual credit course. vii. The School District will allow release time from School District duties for all Dual Credit Faculty to attend required University departmental meetings, discipline and course-specific professional development training.   • Faculty Selection, Supervision, and Evaluation A. Faculty for a dual credit course will be approved and employed by Hill College. The instructor must meet credential requirements of Hill College and minimum requirements as specified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Each faculty member assigned to teach an academic course will have a master’s degree plus 18 hours in the specific discipline. Technical course instructors will have at least an associate degree and three years of work experience in the related business or industry. B. Instructors teaching dual credit courses must meet the same standards, review, and approval procedures as full- time, regular Hill College faculty. C. Faculty for a dual credit course who are not a full-time faculty member of Hill College report directly to the appropriate Xxxx of Instruction for the pathway in which the course(s) is being taught. The college shall supervise and evaluate part-time faculty teaching dual credit courses using the same or comparable procedures used for full-time faculty employed by college. D. The performance appraisal process for dual credit instructors will be conducted by the immediate supervisor and reviewed by the second line supervisor prior to the appraisal interview with the employee. The dual credit faculty evaluation process will mirror the evaluation process used at the college for all full-time faculty members and will be done according to the college policy manual. All dual credit faculty will be periodically evaluated using the following means: 1) random classroom observation by the immediate supervisor of that discipline, 2) student evaluations and 3) self-evaluation. E. All Dual Credit faculty instructors will be supervised by the following means: i. When dual credit classes are visited during a classroom observation, supervisors will ask to see items such as the textbook, observe instruction and interaction with students, and request a class syllabus and a sample of class tests, quizzes, labs, and/or projects. ii. Dual Credit instructors are given a self-evaluation form and are asked to fill it out and return the form to their Hill College supervisor. iii. All dual credit instructors are given a master syllabus for the course. The master syllabus provides grading policy and student learning outcomes. iv. All dual credit instructors are required to participate in the assessment process. v. All dual credit instructors are required to certify rosters. vi. All dual credit instructors are required to submit final grades. F. Faculty teaching courses, which result in the award of college credit, will be regularly employed faculty members of Hill College. All faculty selected by Hill College to teach dual credit classes will be considered employees of Hill College and will be compensated by the college in accordance with Hill College policy, procedures, and guidelines. G. Applications for employment and official transcripts from each college or university attended MUST be submitted and approved prior to the start of classes. All paperwork will be kept on file at Hill College.

  • Professional Qualifications It shall be a condition of continued professional employment that employees must apply for enrolment in their appropriate professional licensing body by the thirtieth day of continuous service.

  • IRO Qualifications The IRO shall: 1. assign individuals to conduct the Arrangements Review who are knowledgeable in the requirements of the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Xxxxx Law and the regulations and other guidance documents related to these statutes; and 2. have sufficient staff and resources to conduct the reviews required by the CIA on a timely basis.

  • STAFF QUALIFICATIONS CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all individuals employed, contracted, and/or otherwise hired by CONTRACTOR to provide classroom and/or individualized instruction or related services hold a license, certificate, permit, or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold in the service rendered consistent with Education Code section 56366.1(n)(1) and are qualified pursuant to Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations sections 200.56 and 200.58, and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations sections 3001(r), 3064 and 3065. Such qualified staff may only provide related services within the scope of their professional license, certification or credential and ethical standards set by each profession, and not assume responsibility or authority for another related services provider or special education teacher’s scope of practice. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all staff are appropriately credentialed to provide instruction and services to students with the disabling conditions placed in their program/school through documentation provided to the CDE (5 CCR 3064 (a)).

  • Regulation D Qualification Neither the Company nor, to its actual knowledge, any of its affiliates, members, officers, directors or beneficial shareholders of 20% or more of its outstanding securities, has experienced a disqualifying event as enumerated pursuant to Rule 506(d) of Regulation D under the Securities Act.

  • Tax Qualification Each Employee Benefit Plan intended to be qualified under Section 401(a) of the Code has been determined to be so qualified by the Internal Revenue Service and nothing has occurred since the date of the last such determination which resulted or is likely to result in the revocation of such determination.

The Company is qualified to do business as a foreign corporation in each jurisdiction in which the ownership of its property or the nature of its business requires such qualification, except where failure to so qualify would not have a material adverse effect on the Company.

  • Required Qualifications At all times during the term of the Contract, Vendor shall have available, under direct employment and supervision and/or subcontract agreement fully incorporating the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents, the required qualified and properly licensed (as applicable) personnel to properly fulfill all the terms and conditions of the Contract.
