Formal, Step 2. If the grievance is not satisfactorily resolved at the informal conference, the grievant shall, within five (5) work days from the informal conference, submit a Xxxxxxxx Association of Paraprofessionals, Grievance form to their immediate supervisor or principal. The immediate supervisor or principal shall respond in writing in five (5) work days. All written grievances must be submitted on a Grievance Form.

Formal, Step 2. If the grievance is not resolved in Step 1, the Union shall, within five (5) work days after receipt of the written answer in Step 1, request in writing a meeting with the Vice President of the appropriate Business Unit to resolve the grievance. The Vice President (or his/her designee) shall meet with the grievant, the Union President and up to two union representatives designated by the Union President to resolve the grievance as soon as possible, but not later than seven work days after receiving the written request.
Formal, Step 2. If applicable to the respective organizational structure of the activity, the following step shall be used, otherwise see paragraph (e) below. If the grievance is not resolved at FORMAL STEP 1 and the EMPLOYEE desires to further pursue the matter through the grievance procedure, the grievance shall be submitted to the third-level supervisor within five work days following the decision by the second-level supervisor. The third-level supervisor or designee shall meet with the EMPLOYEE and/or appropriate UNION Representative and such other individuals deemed necessary and render a written decision not later than five workdays following receipt of the grievance. A copy of the decision shall also be provided to the UNION at the same time.
Formal, Step 2. If the grievance remains unresolved in the judgment of the grievant, the grievant and the Association may, within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of the principal or department administrator's response, submit the written grievance to the Superintendent or their designee. The Superintendent will meet with the grievant and the Association, unless it is mutually agreed that a meeting is not needed. If a meeting is held, it will be held within ten (10) calendar days of the receipt of the timely submitted grievance; the written response of the Superintendent shall then be given to the grievant and the Association within ten (10) calendar days after that meeting. If no meeting is held, the written response of the Superintendent shall be given to the grievant and the Association within ten (10) calendar days after the receipt of the Step 2 written grievance.
Formal, Step 2. In the event the grievance is not satisfactorily adjusted in Formal Step 1, then, within five (5) working days after receipt of the Company’s Formal Step 1 answer, the Union may give written notice to the Company that it will present the grievance at a mutually agreeable time in a Formal Step 2 grievance meeting between the Union and Management. Such meeting shall be held within a reasonable time not to exceed fifteen (15) working days after receipt of the written notice.
