Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem Employees. For the purposes of this Agreement, a full time employee is an RN who is regularly scheduled to work thirty-six (36) to forty (40) hours per week. A part-time employee is an RN who is regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) to thirty-five (35) hours per week. A part-time RN shall not be converted to full-time status due to working extra hours or shifts. Per diem RNs are not regularly scheduled, and work on an as-needed or relief basis, but must meet their availability and work commitments as described in this Agreement. A per diem RN must be available to work at least 24 hours per schedule, with at least one shift being an evening, night or weekend shift. An RN may maintain only one of the foregoing statuses at any given time.

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Employees (a) The base rates of pay in the appropriate employment classification for full-time employees and for part-time employees shall be the hourly rates of pay set out in the Tables in Schedule B to this Agreement.

  • Full-time/Part-time Ratio So long as a full-time position exists there will be no splitting of that position into two or more part-time positions without the agreement of the Union, such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld.

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Per Diem Employees Section 1. A per diem employee is one that works on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the provisions of this article. Per diem employees will not be guaranteed to work a specific number of hours or a specific number of shifts per time block.
