Political Action Check-Off. CROZER agrees to enable voluntary contributions to the PASNAP-PAC political advocacy fund through a payroll check-off provision. Upon receiving the check-off authorization, CROZER shall deduct such funds each payroll period and forward such to PASNAP once per month along with a list of contributors. CCNA/PASNAP agrees to indemnify and hold CROZER harmless against any and all claims, demands, or suits and may arise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by CROZER for the purpose of complying with this provision.

Political Action Check-Off. The Employer agrees to deduct the specific sum from the salary of any member of the bargaining unit who voluntarily executes an OPEIU Local 8 PAC (Political Action Committee) Check-Off Authorization form. The Employer will remit these deductions to OPEIU Local 8 PAC along with a list of the bargaining unit employees’ names and amounts deducted no later than the 15th day following the last payday of each month. The process for submission and revocation of authorization forms will be worked out by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. The Union holds the Employer harmless from all claims, demands or other forms of liability that may arise against the Employer for or on account of any such deductions.

Political Action Check-Off. Upon receipt of written authorization from a House Staff Officer in the form submitted by the CIR/SEIU the Medical Center shall; pursuant to such authorization deduct from the wages due of the House Staff Officer once a month the sum specified in said authorization. The Medical Center will remit the authorized amount to a fund established pursuant to applicable law, to receive contributions to be used for political purposes. It is specifically agreed that the Medical Center assumes no obligation, financial or otherwise, arising out of compliance with the provisions of this Article, and the CIR/SEIU agrees that it will indemnify and hold the Medical Center harmless from any claims, actions or proceedings by any House Staff Officer arising from deductions made by the Medical Center hereunder. The CIR/SEIU further indemnifies and holds the Medical Center harmless from any claims, actions or proceedings by any government agency or by any groups arising from employee deductions made by the Medical Center for the Political Action Fund, so long as such groups are not funded by the Medical Center. Once the funds are remitted to the CIR/SEIU their disposition thereafter shall be the sole and exclusive obligation and responsibility of the CIR/SEIU.
Political Action Check-Off. SSRRH will honor voluntary assignments of wages to the Union’s Political Action Contribution (PAC) fund, when such assignments are submitted on a form agreed to by CIR and SSRRH. Political Action Check-Off. The employer agrees to deduct the amount designated in Zone I Appendix A or B or Zone II Appendix A or B (or such other uniform amount upon notice from the Local Union) for each hour (compensated or worked), from the wages of those employees who so authorize the deduction of this amount as a political action contribution by signing a check-off authorization card. This amount shall be transmitted to the Local Union on a monthly basis and shall be accompanied by a list of names of those employees for whom such deductions have been made and the amount deducted for each employee. These contributions are voluntary in nature and will be transmitted by the Local Union to an affiliated Political Action Committee as authorized by the employees. The Union shall bear sole responsibility for transmitting said monies to the appropriate political committees. The parties have determined the cost incident to the Employer’s administration of this particular payroll deduction to be de minimis; nevertheless, the parties have taken this matter into account in determining the total economic settlement package as represented by the terms and conditions of this collective-bargaining agreement. In the process, the Union has indirectly assumed responsibility for these administrative expenses, having made bargaining concessions commensurate with the estimated value of the administrative services.

Political Action Check-Off. The City of Bellingham agrees to deduct and transmit to the Washington State Council of County and City Employees the amount specified from the wages of those employees who voluntarily authorize such contributions on forms provided for that purpose by the Union. Once an employee sets the amount of such deduction, the amount will not be altered for a period of 12 months. Such transmittals will occur each pay period and will be accompanied by a list of the names of those employees for whom such deductions have been made and the amount deducted for each such employee. The City will not be required to prepare more than one check each pay period for transmittal.
