Functions of Committee. (i) The committee's function shall be to review changes to the principal functions and requirements of an existing job or the principal functions and requirements of new positions created within the bargaining unit by measuring the content of the jobs. The content is defined as the knowledge, skill, responsibility, effort, working conditions and other elements of each job or position. It is the jobs or positions alone that are compared without regard to the individuals or the personal performance of the incumbents filling the occupations. (ii) The committee shall provide advice to the College for administering the entire job evaluation plan including: 1. Amending concise job descriptions for each job within the bargaining unit. 2. Evaluating each job based on a questionnaire completed by the incumbent(s) and supervisor, according to the Camosun College Job Evaluation Manual, which forms part of this Collective Agreement.

Functions of Committee. The Committee shall concern itself with the following general matters: (1) Promoting safety and sanitary practices; (2) Reviewing suggestions from employees, questions of working conditions and service (but not grievances concerned with service); (3) Other problems and matters of mutual interest which affect the relationship which are not properly the subject matter of a grievance or negotiations.

Functions of Committee. The Joint Committee shall concern itself with discussing issues relating to the workplace that affect the Parties or any employee bound by this Agreement, with problems and potential problems involving the Parties, but not with grievances, and shall have the power only to make recommendations to the Union and the Employer.
Functions of Committee. (a) The committee referred to in clause 37.1 shall, whenever it deems appropriate invite representatives from such other Ministries or affected parties to attend any of its meetings. (b) The Company can invite specialist consultants, whenever it deems appropriate, to attend any of the meetings of the committee referred to in clause 37.1.
