Functions of the Secretariat. The functions and duties of the Secretariat will be to:
X. Xxxxx out the decisions and tasks assigned by the Council and Joint Committee under the direction of and directly responsible to the Joint Committee;
B. Provide technical services and financial administration and advise as requested by the Council and Joint Committee;
C. Formulate the annual work program, and prepare all other plans, project and program documents, studies and assessments as may be required;
D. Assist the Joint Committee in the implementation and management of projects and programs as requested;
E. Maintain databases of information as directed;
F. Make preparations for sessions of the Council and Joint Committee; and,
X. Xxxxx out all other assignments as may be requested.
Functions of the Secretariat. The Secretariat functions shall include the following:
a. Coordinate and support official meetings and events linked to the CTI-CFF process, including cross-cutting services in support of monitoring and evaluation, financial coordination, information management and outreach;
b. Coordinate the implementation of CTI-CFF RPOA and provide support to, and coordination with, NCCs, including advising the CTI CSO on emerging opportunities and priorities related to reaching the goals and targets of the RPOA;
c. Develop regional plans, programs and project activities in relation to CTI-CFF for consideration of the CTI COM in accordance with the approved policy guidelines set through the CTI CSO;
d. Act as the channel of communication and share information and xxxxxx networking among the Parties, CTI Partners and other organizations and donors in the efforts to promote the objectives ofthe CTI-CFF;
e. Facilitate technical assistance, including recruiting and sourcing experts to support the Parties, in line with appropriate needs assessment procedures;
f. Assist the Parties in financing agreed projects and activities through support from CTI Partners and financial institutions; and
g. Perform such other duties and functions as may be assigned to it by the CTI COM or the CSO.
Functions of the Secretariat. The Secretariat shall:
1. Enhance awareness and provide capacity-building on the implementation of the MRA TP including marketing and promotion of the services offered by the Secretariat;
2. Develop, maintain and update the ASEAN Tourism Professional Registration System ("ATPRS") including its database management and resources for implementation of the MRA;
3. Formulate, update and recommend the necessary mechanisms including certification and assessment to enable the smooth implementation of the MRA TP;
4. Ensure effective and efficient use of human, financial and capital resources of the Secretariat; and
5. Perform such other functions and responsibilities that may be assigned to it by the Governing Council.
Functions of the Secretariat. 1. The functions of the Secretariat shall be as follows:--
(a) to service meetings of the Community and any of its Institutions or Committees as may from time to time be determined by the Conference;
(b) to take appropriate follow-up action on decisions made at such meetings;
(c) to initiate, arrange and carry out studies on questions of economic and functional co- operation relating to the region as a whole;
(d) to provide services to Member States at their request in respect of matters relating to the achievement of the objectives of the Community;
(e) to undertake any other duties which may be assigned to it by the Conference or any of the Institutions of the Community.
Functions of the Secretariat. The Secretariat shall--
(a) service meetings of the Common Market and any of its Committees;
(b) take appropriate follow-up action on decisions arrived at such meetings;
(c) initiate, arrange, and carry out studies on questions of economic integration relating to theregion;
(d) provide services to Member States at their request in respect of matters relating to the achievement of the objectives of the Common Market;
(e) undertake any other duties which may be assigned to it by the Council.
Functions of the Secretariat. The Secretariat shall have the following functions:
A. To prepare and submit to the Assembly programs for the allocation of German reparation;
B. To maintain detailed accounts of assets available for, and of assets distributed as, German reparation;
C. To prepare and submit to the Assembly the budget of the Agency;
D. To perform such other administrative functions as may be required.
Functions of the Secretariat. 1. In compliance with the work of and in line with the FSAG directions, the Secretariat will serve as a structure, which, through its members, will:
a. request from authorities, gather, deliver to authorities and manage the information that serves as a basis for discussion at FSAG’s meetings;
b. deliver various materials at FSAG’s meetings, according to the need and possibility;
c. monitor the implementation of the Memorandum.
2. To fulfil its functions, the Secretariat, through its members will:
a. establish and maintain regular communication between the relevant authorities' structures, the TSG, and the joint working groups established upon the recommendations of FSAG;
b. deliver instructions on the form and content of the information provided by the authorities and the joint working groups, for the improvement of FSAG meetings' effectiveness;
c. suggest issues to be discussed at FSAG’s meeting;
d. monitor the realisation of recommendations from FSAG’s meeting;
e. keep the minutes of the meeting and maintain the documentation of issues discussed at FSAG’s meetings.
3. The authorities will assist the Secretariat to fulfil its functions by supporting it through their internal structures.
Functions of the Secretariat. 1. The functions of the Secretariat shall be carried out by the Staff.
2. The primary roles of the Secretariat are to provide policy advice, coordination and assistance in implementing the decisions of the Forum Leaders.
3. Subject to the direction of the Forum Leaders and the Committee, the Secretariat shall also-
(a) build upon the important basis for regional cooperation established by the Forum by working to further strengthen and deepen links between the countries of the region in accordance with the purpose of the Forum, including through the ongoing development and implementation of the Pacific Plan;
(b) promote the identity and activities of the Forum;
(c) work to advance partnerships between the Forum and its stakeholders within and beyond the Pacific region; and
(d) undertake such other activities as are necessary for the attainment of the Forum’s purpose.
4. The Secretariat shall work in cooperation and coordination with other intergovernmental organisations in the Pacific region, with the aim of ensuring that the most effective use is made of regional resources.
5. In the performance of its functions the Secretariat shall have regard to the particular needs of the most vulnerable Forum members, communities and peoples, including the smaller island states, and shall embrace the cultural diversity of the region with tolerance and respect.
6. The Secretariat shall provide support services to Forum Leaders’ Meetings, Ministerial meetings, and meetings of the Committee and of other councils, committees or working groups as may be established by the Forum.
7. The Secretariat shall communicate with members through their Ministries of Foreign Affairs, or such other contact points as may be nominated by the respective members.
Functions of the Secretariat. Subject to the directions of the Council, the Secretariat shall perform the following functions:
(a) promote the development, harmonisation, application and maintenance of standards and standards-related matters;
(b) facilitate and mandate standards and metrology infrastructure development at national and regional levels;
(c) undertake training and promote education and information dissemination on standards and standards-related matters;
(d) participate in the activities of regional, hemispheric and international standardising bodies;
(e) conduct investigations in accordance with Article 12 of this Agreement;
(f) prepare annual and other reports for submission to the Council;
(g) prepare and recommend the budget of CROSQ to the Council;
(h) prepare and recommend the staff regulations to the Council;
(i) undertake such other related functions as may be determined by the Council.
Functions of the Secretariat. The functions of the Secretariat shall be to implement the activities of SPREP, which shall inlude:
