The evaluator and teacher shall jointly identify training, classes, resources, etc. All other teachers not identified above. The Evaluation Committees shall have the necessary funding each year to be used for training purposes. Committee members shall vote on how these dollars shall be allocated and the type of training. All training shall be held during school hours, unless mutually agreed upon by committee members. All requests for professional dollars shall be submitted to the District Treasurer, including the cost of the professional development. If the request is denied, the District treasurer shall provide to the teacher, in writing, the reason for the denial within five (5) working days. If the teacher believes the denial is arbitrary, capricious or unreasonable, the employee may file a grievance, pursuant to Article 5 of this Contract.
