General Conditions of Hire. 1.1. The right to use any community facility is subject to the Facility Manager/Booking Officer receiving a completed Hire Agreement Form, signed by the proposed Hirer, agreeing to comply with the Conditions of Hire. Where the Hirer is a community organisation or group the Hire Agreement Form must be signed by a duly authorised member. Where a person signs the Hire Agreement Form on behalf of the Hirer, the person signing the Hire Agreement Form: Warrants that he or she is authorised to sign the Hire Agreement Form on behalf of the Hirer; Guarantees that the Hirer will strictly observe and perform the obligations outlined in the Conditions of Hire; and Agrees to pay to the Facility Manager/Booking Officer on demand, money for any loss suffered by Council due to a breach of the conditions by the Hirer.
1.2. The hire of Council facilities by the community is strictly in accordance with Council’s Community Facilities Hire Policy and the Conditions of Hire herein and does not deem to provide any lasting rights of possession or other tenure over the facility to the Hirer, or confer on the Hirer the rights to exclusive possession or right to sub-let the facility in any manner.
1.3. The Hirer shall be entitled to use only those areas in the facility requested and approved by the Facility Manager/Booking Officer for the purpose and between the hours specified in the Hire Agreement Form. Any use beyond those times may be subject to an additional fee and requires prior approval.
1.4. The Hirer must comply with all requirements and directions given by Council Officers and/or the Facility Manager/Booking Officer when using the facility and Council Officers and/or Facility Managers may enter and remain in the facility at any time.
1.5. Hirers cannot be under 18 years of age. Functions involving persons under the age of 18 years must have the Hire Agreement Form signed by a parent/guardian who will be supervising the meeting/function/party. The person signing the Hire Agreement Form is subject to the General conditions of hire. Functions for the approved purpose of teenage and 21st birthday parties must be supported by a completed Party Safe Registration Form (Victoria Police) and must provide evidence of the engagement of accredited security as a condition of hire.
General Conditions of Hire. The Hirer agrees with The Church Hall Committee to be present during the hiring and to observe and perform the provisions and stipulations contained or referred to in the Standard Conditions of Hire for the time being in force (an understanding of which the Hirer acknowledges) together with Special Conditions set out in the Schedule overleaf. If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of any of the following, a member of The Church Hall Committee should be consulted. For the purposes of these Conditions the term Hirer shall mean an individual hirer or, where the hirer is an organisation, the authorised representative.
General Conditions of Hire. Glenfield Community Centre (“GCC”) is independently-owned and is not affiliated with Auckland Council or its booking system.
General Conditions of Hire. These standard conditions apply to all hirings of Benington Village Hall (“the Hall”). If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, the Bookings Secretary or the Chairperson of the Benington Hall Management Committee (“Hall Chairperson”) should immediately be consulted.
General Conditions of Hire. 2.1 Each day boat must have a minimum of 2 able bodied crew members over the age of 18 years of age and a maximum of 12 crew in total. This maximum figure includes babes in arms.
2.2 To comply with our conditions of hire and the ‘Canal and River Trust’ By-laws it is imperative that the person steering the boat along with one other crew member is over 18 years of age and remains in a totally sober condition and not be taking behaviour affecting drugs!
2.3 The boat will be available to you from 9.30 am on the day of hire, and should be returned, in a clean and tidy condition please, by 4 pm or sunset, whichever is sooner during the summer months and 10am to 3pm during the winter.
2.4 The hirer will be required to lodge a £100 cash security deposit per boat on the day of hire. This will be refunded on the condition that the boat is returned on time, in a clean, tidy state, and that no damage has been sustained to the hired boat (either by the hirer or third party) or to any other parties’ boat or property.
2.5 On no account should any adult or child travel on the roof side gunwales or front of the boat as this is very dangerous and can adversely affect the stability of the craft and could cause it to capsize!!
2.6 The boats may only be cruised north from our base at Scholar Green and are licensed & insured to travel no further than the bottom of the locks at Xxxxxx. “Daydream or Saltie” MUST NOT be taken into, or through, any locks.
2.7 Portable gas appliances are not allowed on the boat. Charcoal barbecues must only be used away from the boat and must be totally emptied and cooled before getting back on to the boat. Care must be taken to ensure that no fires are caused by careless disposal of hot ashes.
2.8 The boat must be handled with due consideration of other canal users, with no rowdy behaviour, reckless handling, speeding, or such behaviour that encourages complaints from any third party. That all the ‘Conditions of Hire’ have been complied with!
General Conditions of Hire. 7.1. The Hirer will be responsible for: • Maintaining good order and conduct on the Premises. • Ending all activities by 11.00pm or at the end of the Period of Hire stipulated on the Booking Form, whichever is the earlier. • Keeping the FIRE EXIT clear of any obstruction. • Maintaining housekeeping standards to reduce the likelihood of slip, trip or other incidents occurring. • Obtaining the consent of HP CIC before decorating the Premises. • Leaving the Premises in the same state as they were found on entry, unless a cleaning service has been booked and paid for prior to the event. • Sweeping and mopping the floors (if required). • Taking all rubbish away at the end of the hire period. • Flushing the toilets and leaving them clean and tidy. Soiled nappies must be removed by the Hirer. • Cleaning the activity room and sink so they are fit to be used by the next hirer. • Replacing tables and chairs as found. • Testing any portable electrical equipment brought onto the Premises, so it is safe for use and been X.X.X. tested. • Ensuring that no equipment, goods or other materials are left on the Premises overnight or after the Period of Hire. • Switching off all internal lights. • Locking all doors before leaving. • Returning the keys and reporting any damage to HP CIC.
7.3. The following are specifically not allowed:

a) Any equipment brought onto the premises and used by hirers is certified safe to use and is appropriately insured.
b) Any children brought onto the premises are the responsibility of their parent/adult carer and must be supervised at all times, both in and outside the building.
(i) Children are NOT allowed in the Upper Meeting Room above the Café, without a responsible adult being present.
(ii) Children are NOT allowed in the kitchen or kitchenette, unless for activities planned with supervision by responsible adult(s)
c) The premises hired and any other areas accessed must be left in a clean and tidy state ready for the next Hirer.
d) Discovery of any existing damage to church equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings, or non- functioning church equipment e.g. lights, kettle etc. must be reported to the Church Centre Managers.
e) Any damage caused by the Hirer to church equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings must be reported to the Church Centre Managers. The church reserves the right to make deductions from the deposit to cover damage or cleaning costs.
f) The Hirer shall be responsible for good order being kept through the period of hire.

General Conditions of Hire. Trustee discretion: Acceptance of a hire booking request is at the discretion of Dunsfold Parish Council as trustee of the King Xxxxxx’s Field, Dunsfold charity (referred to hereafter as the “Charity”) and its authorised officers and representatives (“Officers”). Officers reserve the right to refuse a booking.
General Conditions of Hire a) The Hirer must ensure that the Caravan is safe and secure at all times.
b) Smoking is NOT permitted inside the Caravan or under the awning area.
c) If cigarette smoke is present in the van on its return, as deemed by ECH, the full bond is retained.
d) The caravan must not be subjected to camp fire smoke.
e) The use of aerosol cans near naked flames is not permitted inside or outside the Caravan.
f) No pets are permitted inside the Caravan and / or annexes.
g) A maximum of 60 kg on the top bunk is allowed. (If applicable)
h) The Caravan is not to be altered or tampered with in any way either internally or externally.
i) Nothing is to be tied to the Caravan externally either to the sides or top.
j) No heavy hard items are to be stored on the floor of the Caravan e.g.: Esky’s, BBQ’s or gas bottles, bicycles etc, as they may xxxx or tear the flooring or interior.
k) A pull out awning must not be left up in wet / windy conditions or whilst the Caravan is unattended.
l) ESCAPE CARAVAN HIRE takes no responsibility for the hirer’s personal belongings.
