GROUP BENEFITS AND PENSION. For purposes of this Article, "eligible employees" shall be defined as: Regular employees and temporary employees hired for a term appointment of one (1) year or more, with a minimum scheduled work week of twenty (20) hours. A general outline of the Plan is reflected in this Article. Additional details may be found in the Benefit Booklet provided to all eligible employees.

GROUP BENEFITS AND PENSION. 5.1 The President is entitled to participate in all life, accident, medical, dental, disability, health and wellness spending account, and other Health Benefit Plans maintained by the College and available to exempt employees, as defined in the College’s Administrative Terms and Conditions of Employment, subject to the following conditions: 5.1.1 The Board’s obligations do not extend to guaranteeing payment of claims under any particular insurance benefits plan or policy. The provisions of the policies and plans, as amended from time to time, will govern with respect to eligibility for participation, plan administration, and benefits provided except to the extent superseded herein. The Board is not the agent of the benefits provider, does not supervise the benefits provider, and is not responsible for plan or claims administration by the benefits provider. 5.1.2 The President accepts full responsibility for completing the insurance benefits enrollment/application forms and any benefits claims forms, including the responsibility tocomplete the forms fully and accurately and to submit the forms to the benefits provider within such time limits or other requirements as may be established by the benefits provider. The President agrees that the Board is not responsible for ensuring the proper completion of any of these forms, verifying information on the forms, or submitting the forms to the benefits provider. The Board is not the agent of the President in completing enrollment/application forms or claims forms. 5.1.3 The College reserves the right to change carriers and policies, or terminate coverage, as it deems appropriate. 5.2 The President shall participate in the Local Authorities Pension Plan (XXXX). Participation in XXXX, including but not limited to eligibility to participate in XXXX, will be subject to the terms and conditions of the XXXX regulations and the College’s XXXX Participation Policy, as amended from time to time. 5.3 The President will be eligible to participate in the Supplementary Executive Retirement Plan (SERP) for the College, subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan, as amended from time to time.

The benefits associated with the January 31, 2000 benefits accord are in effect until December 31, 2005. 30.01 MEDICAL SERVICES PLAN (MSP) For regular full-time employees the University shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the monthly premium for coverage under the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia. Coverage and eligibility shall be governed by the terms of the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia.
