GROUP TERM LIFE. The Keystone Local Board of Education will provide group term-life insurance as follows:

GROUP TERM LIFE. The Board shall provide for teachers a fifty thousand dollar ($50,000.00) term life insurance plan with an Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefit, for a twelve (12) month period. The Board shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of the life insurance plan.
GROUP TERM LIFE. The Board shall provide, on a fully paid basis, except for one dollar, a group term life insurance policy for all teachers of the MSD of Xxxxx Township in the amount of $50,000. This program will provide the minimum death benefit, double indemnity and dismemberment, and a waiver of premium for disability. The normal range of settlement options should be included in the contract. Part-time teachers shall be eligible for the full amount of insurance although the Board will furnish only a pro rata share of the premiums. Teachers may purchase additional units of group term life through payroll deductions. The Board shall not pay any portion of the premium for these additional units.
GROUP TERM LIFE. The Employer shall pay the full premium for coverage of a group term life insurance for each Professional staff member, as described in Appendix B. In addition, Employees shall be able to obtain additional life insurance coverage under a voluntary payroll deduction plan at Employee expense.

  • Group Term Life Insurance The School District will pay the full premium for each $1,000 of coverage for group term life insurance. The amount of life insurance provided will be $20,000, subject to the conditions of the carrier.

  • Long Term Leaves a. A unit member may be granted a leave of absence, with or without pay, by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent or designee for a period not to exceed one (1) year when such action is not contrary to the best interests of the District.

  • Long Term Leave Any employee who declines a reappointment as a Teaching Assistant in order to interrupt his/her program of graduate study for a period not to exceed one (1) year will not jeopardize his/her consideration for reappointment under Article l3.03.

  • Short Term Paid Leaves The parties agree that the issue of Short Term Paid Leaves had been addressed at the Central Table and the provisions shall remain status quo to provisions in current local collective agreements. For clarity, any leave of absence in the 2008-12 Collective Agreement, that utilizes deduction from sick leave, for reasons other than personal illness shall be granted without loss of salary or deduction from sick leave, to a maximum of five (5) days per school year. Local collective agreements that have more than (5) days shall be limited to five (5) days. These days shall not be used for the purpose of sick leave nor shall they be accumulated from year-to-year. Such provisions shall not be subject to local bargaining or mid-term amendments between local parties. Notwithstanding this stipulation, local collective agreement terms will need to align with the terms above.

  • SHORT-TERM ILLNESS AND INJURY AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY Employees shall be entitled to coverage for short term illness and injury and long term disability in accordance with agreed upon regulations which will be subject to review and revision during the period of this Agreement by negotiations between the Parties and included as Appendix A to this Agreement.

  • Certain Term Life Insurance Contracts A life insurance contract maintained in Singapore with a coverage period that will end before the insured individual attains age 90, provided that the contract satisfies the following requirements:

  • Long Term Disability (LTD 4.7.1 The school board shall cooperate in the administration of the LTD Plan. It is understood that administration means that the school board will co-operate with the enrolment and deduction of premiums and provide available necessary data to the insurer, upon request. The school board will remit premiums collected to the carrier on behalf of the teachers.

  • Long Term Care The City may offer an option for employees to purchase a new long-term care benefit for themselves and certain family members.

  • Long Term Leave of Absence The District may grant any employee an unpaid long-term leave of absence for up to one (1) year for study, child rearing, travel, medical, or other mutually agreed to reason(s). Upon Board approval leave may be extended an additional year. Employees granted such a leave shall be permitted to stay on the District insurance programs at their own expense (carriers permitting), shall not gain or lose seniority or other benefits, but shall not be granted advancement credit on the salary schedule for the period of the leave. Upon return from such leave, the employee shall be entitled to the same position or a position substantially equivalent to the position held prior to the leave.

  • Long Term Disability Plan The Welfare Plan will include a Long Term Disability Plan summarized in Appendix “2”.
