Health and Dental Plan. The current health and dental plans in effect for employees will continue with the Employer paying seventy-five percent (75%) of the costs of the plan and the employee paying twenty-five percent (25%) of the costs for all permanent employees. The co-pay for prescription drugs will be five dollars ($5.00) per prescription for all permanent employees. The current health and dental plan shall be available for all permanent employees desiring coverage. The City of Moncton is not the personal insurer.

This plan will guarantee seventy percent (70%) of wages to the maximum amount covered under the plan while an employee is on Long Term Disability. The employee shall pay the full premium: however, the fifty percent (50%) that the Employer would have paid towards the plans will be applied to the Group Health and Dental Plans.
Health and Dental Plan. The Employer will pay the premium costs to have employees included in the University of Saskatchewan CUPE Local 1975-04 (PSCI) plans.

The Employer shall contract with one or more appropriately licensed Insurers to provided Medical, Dental and Prescription benefits for each bargaining unit Employee who regularly works 30 hours or more per week, and; A) executes appropriate application forms for such coverage, and B) authorizes the Employer to deduct a predetermined co-payment amount from the Employee's wages. The Employer reserves the right to change insurers from time to time as it deems necessary due to rate increases or governmental fiat. The Employer further agrees that upon receipt of an authorization from an Employee the Employer will deduct such amount from the Employee's wages so as to provide coverage for the dependents of such Employee.
