Health and Safety and Insurance. Works may, at the discretion of the Farmer, be carried out to maintain or improve the score of management unit(s) into the RBAPS project. If any or all the work is being undertaken by a Farmer, then he/she should seek competent advice in relation to the safety of the actions and the personnel undertaking the actions on the Farmer´s behalf. Neither the Project, any member of the RBAPS Team, the Co-ordinating Beneficiary, the Associated Beneficiaries, Project Partners, the Project co- founders nor the European Commission will be in any way liable for any damage, loss or injury to persons, animals or property in the event of any occurrence relating to the actions.

  • WORKPLACE SAFETY AND INSURANCE 41.1 Where an employee is absent by reason of an injury or an occupational disease for which a claim is made under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, his or her salary shall continue to be paid for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days. If an award is not made, any payments made under the foregoing provisions in excess of that to which he or she is entitled under Articles 44.1 and 44.6 (Short Term Sickness Plan) shall be an amount owing by the employee to the Employer.

In addition, Company may require, in writing, that Seller remove from the work any employee the Company deems unsafe, incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK The Supplier shall undertake its obligations arising hereunder and in all Contracts in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System or equivalent. Both parties shall take all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of the other party’s employees and agents visiting their premises. The Supplier shall notify the Authority of any use of substances listed under COSHH regulations or the Montreal Protocol in the provision of the Services.

  • Safety and Protection 8.18.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work.
