Health Officer. If the grievance does not resolve at Step 2, a copy of the grievance shall be submitted to the District Health Officer or his/her designee within ten (10) working days of receiving the response at Step 2. The Health Officer will have 15 working days after receipt of the Step 3 grievance to determine if a meeting is warranted and notify the Association/Nurse Representative of that decision. If the Health Officer determines a meeting should be held, he/she will submit a tentative meeting date to the Association/Nurse Representative at that time. In an effort to promote resolution, the Health Officer will make every effort to schedule the meeting within a reasonable time frame.
