Healthy workplaces. This BRF supports the principles and joint work contained in the Healthy Workplaces Agreement.
Healthy workplaces. The parties acknowledge that they have reached an agreement on a healthy workplaces and this is attached as Appendix Two.

The parties support a workplace culture with a collective responsibility for ensuring an appropriate balance between safe quality care, a safe quality work environment, patient or client access, and business sustainability.

The parties support a workplace culture between employees and their managers that reflects an understanding and actively advocates an appropriate balance between safe quality care, a safe quality work environment and organizational efficiency.
35.2 Regular joint NZNO/Employer Healthy Workplace Forums will be held.

a) Achieving healthy workplaces requires:
i. Having the appropriate levels of staff, skill mix, experience, and resourcing to achieve a match between demand and capacity
ii. Systems, processes and work practices that ensure efficient scheduling and a credible, consistent and timely response to variance in demand
iii. A workplace culture between employees and their managers that reflects an understanding and actively advocates a balance between safe quality care, a safe quality work environment and organisational efficiency.
iv. Recognition that everyone can be a leader by using the authority (expertise) vested in their role to participate and constructively engage with others.
v. The development of a learning culture that emphasizes employees at all levels being given the opportunity to extend their knowledge and skills, as identified in their performance development plans where they are in place.
vi. Appreciation that good patient outcomes rely on the whole team and that teams need opportunities to work and plan together.
vii. Having the right tools, technology, environment and work design to support health and safety and to ensure effective health care delivery. This includes the opportunity to be involved in the decisions about what is needed and when.
b) Within 6 months of ratification of the Collective Agreement a Joint NZNO/E tu /Employer Healthy Workplace Group(s) will be implemented.
c) To facilitate the effectiveness of the Group(s) the Employer and NZNO/E tu will develop terms of reference and agreed processes to support employees and to guide managers in the event there are healthy workplace issues.

27.2 The employer and NZNO will ensure that Healthy Workplace issues will be monitored and reviewed on a regular basis by the Health and Safety Committee.
Healthy workplaces. 27.1 There will be a commitment by Birthcare and the NZNO members covered by this collective that the parties will have open and clear communication over and above the entitlements provided by the Employment Relations Xxx 0000 to discuss issues relating to maintaining a healthy workplace. This may include regular paid staff meetings.
27.2 Such entitlements are to be discussed and agreed by both parties before any meetings take place.

32.2 Achieving healthy workplace requires:
32.2.1 A workplace culture that encourages shared understanding and delivery of organisational values that can be lived and experienced through work place practices.
32.2.2 Supporting appropriate levels of staff, skill mix, experience, and resourcing.
32.2.3 Systems, processes, resources and technology that enable employees to perform in their respective role.
32.2.4 A workplace culture between employees and their managers that reflects regular communication and engagement that enables and acknowledges contribution.
32.2.5 Recognition that everyone can be a leader by using the authority (expertise) vested in their role to participate and constructively engage with others.
32.2.6 The development of a learning culture that emphasizes employees at all levels being given the opportunity to extend their knowledge and skills, as identified in their performance development plans.
