Holidays and Non-School/Work Days. If there is a holiday, non-school/workday or school closing or shutdown where bargaining unit members are not expected to work, the non-school/work days or shutdown period shall not count against the employee’s FMLA allotment. The bargaining unit member shall receive FMLA credit if the leave coincides with a holiday only if the member works part of the week. If the member works part of the week, only the days the member would have been expected to report to work would count against the member’s FMLA allotment.
